Apparently the dems don't want to take his word for it. The dems of today rate the credibility of testimony in direct proportion to how well it supports their objectives.

You seem to think Trump has incredible powers, when he is in fact more under attack than any president in your lifetime.
Imagine that someone in authority that has a personal rub with you charges you with some crime- lets say anything from stealing the neighbor kids yo-yo to molestation, but the kid next door (which you could obviously intimidate) says- No such thing happened. But since the investigators feel sure you are a dirt bag and guilty of something anyway- so they just ignore the statements of the alleged victim, because he may be afraid you will steal his sucker or something, and prosecute you anyway.

Sounds fair to me; I could easily assume that a person who can take the position you have might well be guilty of all kinds of things, so proving any particular charge or ignoring undesirable facts isn't necessary to pass judgment. Sound fair to you? Of course not, because surely- you wouldn't be one of those hypocritical, double standard lefties would you? Surely not. No honorable person would want to live in such a world, let alone be responsible for supporting it.
