Can anyone explain in simple terms how that works.
How some in life seem blessed and traipse thru life mostly
WINNING.While other's seemed doomed to repeated Loss.
Over the years I've been a Fatalist.Believing more in Fate
than most anything else.Yes,I believe in God and even go to
Church to pray twice a week.Maybe I'm just covering my bases.
But I also know that those like little old ladies who go to church
regularly with babushka on their heads and often threadbare
overcoats seem to live long into old age.As if not tempting Fate and
just going about the business of mere simple existence can work
wonders.I'm left with little other explanataion.

I can't explain it, but I think about things like that often. Why was I so lucky? I didn't choose who I am, I had no control over where I was born and to who. Why was I born in America into a financially stable household and good family while others are born into poverty?

Or why some try harder and are rewarded less, while those who
try least seem to have an advantage and win at whatever endeavor
    with the barest of ease.
I have a theory that even the greatest of Philosopher cannot explain.
If Heaven is God's reward for those who behave well and endure
then how is it possible for someone such as a Rich heiress or
a Princess Diane able to gain Heaven w/o suffering or sacrificing
or as much as having to mop a floor,no matter whether they behaved
well and whatever sins they commit are of a minor nature.
Can someone gain heaven living a charmed life,no matter never
harming another or engaged in sinful excess.
How can someone acheive Heaven without as much ever knowing
the pangs of hunger, the pain of cold or lack of shelter. If they lived
good lives but never suffered. And others who know little else but
suffering gain heaven as if on equal footing.

in the confines of this debate.
