I obviously didn't understand the gospel as a young child. I came to understand it better around the age of 10 to 13. I gave up my faith at 15.

You almost certainly have this backwards. As a young child, at least you were aware that you didn't understand it, which is more understanding than most clerics have. Later you had it shoved down your throat by people who didn't understand it themselves, and rejected their faux understanding, thinking there was no other.

Don't get caught up debating too much with Yguy. He'll run you around in illogical circles then declare victory after you've tired of the game. His posts will barely ever be more than a single sentence and they will contain little, if any, substance. It is entirely possible to have meaningful in depth conversations with pro-lifers, but you will not find that with him. Just take a look at his posting history.

 

Clearly there is nothing dishonest about stating what one honestly believes to be true; and since you seem disinclined to provide any reason for me to reconsider, I suspect I'll maintain that belief at least as long as you profess to believe people aren't human beings until they exit the womb - which everyone knows is a brazen lie.
