    1. Well, based on what I have read around here. It feels like they are barely contained. When people take pleasure in another's suffering, that is a huge red flag for me. And their number is growing, not shrinking. And everyone else doesn't seem to care or want to correct this.

    2. There are many people whom DO care, for any number of reasons. Myself? Not really. But I am worried about those people who do. Their number is growing, no one else wants to do anything to fix it, and I don't want to accept that additional risk without doing anything.

    3. No one is a saint, IMO. People that shun all emotions for cold logic, or give the appearance of doing, so, are dangerous, IMO. Still doesn't make me a monster.

Any hat can block the sun or rain from your eyes, so the fact that they buy the MAGA hat must have something to do with the slogan, not the hat. And that slogan is associated to Trump. And that mean's all of the good and bad that is associated to Trump is associated to the slogan.

And I can personally handle the MAGA slogan just fine. Others may not, however, and they can make it YOUR problem quite easily, without even having to resort to physical violence.

And you aren't scared? You aren't worried? Why?

    Sure, perfectly uncivil.

There are all types of people on both sides of the political spectrum.

And that's part of the whole 'anonymous internet message board' effect. People are free to be more honest with their opinions here than they are in person in a crowded room. It's one of the reasons my faith in humanity has dipped so low. As time passes, more and more people are just not caring about whatever kept them in check in public before. It makes me worried about going to events like concerts, sports games, etc.

Why should I be scared or worried? If someone assaults me with no REAL reason, they will be trying to hold their intestines in, if they dont steal me. I go nowhere without a nice blade in this crazy world.

It's good advice in life to keep your hands to yourself.

The fact that you equate someone disagreeing with your moral judgment of yours or others beliefs on a message board to punishment or "treating you like a monster" further demonstrates warped thought processes and thinking IMO. But hey, you're free to feel that way and believe you're a martyrd hate victim. Just so you know, most people who disagree with others' choices, thoughts, decisions, and actions and even hold the opinion that such are "bad", "wrong", etc doesn't mean they HATE those other people. Here's the deal.....if you're that sensitive to the opinions and criticisms of others, posting on a political message board probably isn't for a good choice for you.

Ok then, you choose not to answer my question about your views, yet decide I am not interested in changing or considering other view points. I'm sure you also fail to see just how absurd and hypocritical that is. I FLAT OUT asked you about your point of view, without insulting you, and this is your response. So, I have now gleaned enough information to judge that your complaints about other posters' tone and words and how they are "treating you" are nothing but a red herring smoke screen, because I purposely did not do that, and you choose not to engage and have no response to the substance of the discussion. Your last statement about "hating" people makes it sound like you are looking in a mirror, and if you do not recognize that everything you criticize in others you are equally guilty of, you are practicing self-delusion.

Any terrorist organization has a minority directly engaged in terrorism and a majority facilitating terrorism. This is a classical guerilla tactic.

In my opinion, anyone who opposes Totalitarianism must realize that many Leftists (#notall) do support terrorist tactics.

    1) Yes, because there are clear legal pathways for the redress of stalking/harassment. Further, that stuff only happens within established relationships, not between random strangers on the street. IOW, not the topic of this thread in any way. We're discussing random encounters in public places.

    2) You cannot be 'bullied' by a guy sitting on the other side of a restaurant, minding his own business. You cannot even be 'bullied' by a crazy person shouting profanities at you in the street. None of that is targetted at YOU, it's their stuff alone. If you choose to make such incidents about you, then you have issues beyond the scope of this thread.

    3) Yes, it will get worse - if we keep sensitising people and pandering to narcissism driven 'feelings' at the expense of the ordinary functioning of a democracy.

They don't have to touch you or pull a gun on you to hurt you.

The fact you think you are emotionally untouchable is alien to me. No one is untouchable.

Any juror in any case involving a Leftist in any capacity must take into consideration the fact that they are likely working on the case of an individual that likely supports using terrorist tactics to take away their Fundamental Human Rights.

I went back through the thread and looked for your post. From what I have seen, i have answered your questions. If there is something about my answer that you don't understand, then clarify for me. If you just don't like my answer, well, okay.

    Leftist bad?

Well, if you want to want to sink to that level, others can to.

You have made your point already, so what is your purpose with this post?

    Yes, they do.

No random stranger in the street can 'hurt your feelings'. We can experience momentary annoyance or a little ego wound, but that's the extent of it. You will never see that person again, and besides - whatever they said or did was a reflection of their journey, not yours. I can't say this loudly or often enough .. it's not about you.

It is the duty of any juror in any case to take into consideration the fact that if any side is known to be a Leftist, they are likely to support Terrorism to suppress Fundamental Human Rights of their opponents.

The only people who can truly hurt us are those we love, care for and, more particularly ... respect!

If some random person decides to verbally abuse me in the street it might embarrass me a little because of the spectacle but ultimately I will just think they are nuts and they won't hurt me per se.

Their anti-social dysfunction is on them. Not me.

Please allow me to ask you a question to see if I am understanding you correctly. In the situation with the MAGA hat which is under discussion, it would seem that in your opinion, the person WEARING the MAGA hat is considered to be verbally or psychologically abusing those who dislike Trump and what they perceive he stands for. Am I correct? Is this how you see it?

Seems like a pretty simple yes or no question, but if you'd like to answer either way and expand upon your reasoning, please do. Because the question I asked above is what I and others perceive to be your position based upon your writings in this thread. Are we correct or not?

    One random stranger alone, no.

Many over the course of time definitely could. Maybe you were never bullied growing up, so you couldn't understand how it hurts someone.

And why should I, or anyone that is being bullied be the only ones that HAVE to change? Shouldn't those bullies have to as well?

I am tired if having to be reasonable in the face of so many others that selfish think only of themselves.

Maybe they think you are the socially deficient one.

Whom do you think, in society, makes that decision? It would be the people, Yes?

When looking at the anger and violence. You don't notice the increase?

And, IMO, society has gotten much worse in this country. Other countries may have less freedom, but their citizens still live peaceful, happy lives.

Why? Why do you think freedom is unlimited and absolute?

Bullies are cowards with low self esteem who act out with the aim of trying to feel some sense of power over others that they consider to be weaker than themselves. These people have usually been bullied themselves and more often than not feel strength in numbers and, yes, it is wrong on all levels! It's a weak stance and shows a weak character.

    BUT ...

Can't you consider that it was the woman assaulting the man who was doing the bullying and not the other way around.

ALL of us have been bullied in some way, at some point in life. That's the point .. there is no life-in-society without 'bullying'. Even animals do it to each other.

It's on us to raise our kids to be resistant to it (because as sure as breathing, they will encounter it throughout life), if we care about them. We need to send them out into the world wearing a solid emotional armour ... not send them out naked and afraid, and laboring under the delusion that they should never be insulted. Who does that? Why would you deliberately compromise your child's chances of survival and good mental health by failing them in this area?

You cannot stop 'bullying' because it's a part of our animal nature. All you can do is ensure it doesn't break you (or your kids).

There's the thing. They are free to think what they like. I don't care what they think so long as they make no attempt to touch me physically.

Okay, I remember it now. I did answer it, so you must not have liked my answer.

It's not a yes or no question.

It can be, at times. And perhaps sometimes not.

Again no black and white. Life is messy like that.
