    For starters;

Gregory Peck - Suave, debonair and unpretentiously sexy.

Denzel Washington - Poised, sophisticated and a hunk.

    Joseph Gordon-Levitt - Why not?

    Sarah Jessica Parker

Robert Downey Jr. ... sexy, funny, smart. What ever part he plays he plays them all with total ease.

Robert De Niro ...his movie career speaks for itself, plus I recently watched Meet the Parents and loved him in it

Chris Hemsworth ...Avengers. I really don't care if he can act or not. lol

Morgan freeman ... cool calm demeanor, along with his famous voice.

Steve Carell ... wouldn't call him a great actor but hes so funny.

Did Sarah Parker change her gender?

Paul Newman has been one of my all-time favorites for ages. Good looking, a great actor and above all, he had his Hole-in-the-Wall Gang charity that helped needy kids all over the world......

And I've always liked Tom Selleck.........

I have no worry over this Great actor. His name was seldom mentioned
even when I was a kid.I had to train to be a Movie buff in order to
learn and appreciate his depth of character performance.A Great
actor who made his characters come to life, like no other Hollywood Great.
He was almost in a class by himself.
    Paul Muni is that Actor

I must make mention of a difference between the Golden Age
actors and acting and todays actors.Yes,Universal Horror created the
Bela Lugosi's and Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney Jr.'s.
    But that was somewhat short-lived.
The Universal norm was and still is to this day :
" There is more money in being liked by an audience than by being
disliked by at. " Therefore the Hollywood need to propel superhero
and The Good guy over the bad guy in most movies.
Which is why I can't stand or tolerate Quentin Tarantino.
The square jawed blockhead of schlock filmdom.Plus he copies
movie plots and grotesquely adapts them to his near sadistic cravings.
He may well be more responsible for violence in this country than any
Movie producer/director combined in celluloid history.

    Men like Gregory Peck are old school iconic. Certain male actors, to my tastes, stand out as purely good actors and in no particular order;

    Brad Pitt
    Jamie Foxx
    Leonardo DiCaprio
    Peter Dinklage
    Jack Nicholson

Ha! Always a thorn along with the roses, isn't it?

Benicio Del Toro, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Russel Crowe, Charles Dance, Heath Ledger and... Larry Fessenden.

I like them because they make me believe in their every characters.

Sean Connery is still hot to teenaged girls. He is so sexy and so cool... He, in my opinion is probably the most timeless actor ever.

You mentioned Heath Ledger...did you see Brokeback Mountain? I think that movie was the most gut wrenching, tragic love story ever.... His finest work....

Hollywood went out of their way to destroy him.Basically because he dared to
make a Christian movie.I think he might have by-passed Hollywood on
    efforts to produce it.

Mark Wahlberg for his wide range of action and comedy roles. One of my favorite roles of his was actually more of a minor role. I loved him in the Departed. His character was so witty, so mean, and so funny at the same time. Being from Mass (both him and I), it's great to see such genuine talent in that type of role. Lone Survivor was an epic role for him as well as The Perfect Storm. Then you flip to the funny side of him in films such as The Other Guys, Ted, Date Night (small role) always crack me up. The Other Guys is the perfect combination of Will Ferrell and Marky Mark. Although their latest attempt to team up again in "Daddy's Home" was a bust. I think they tried WAY too hard on that one.

No. He was in several movies. He played the Joker in his last role.
Did you see Brokeback Mountain? When it came out, it was so controversial...

I love Mark Wahlberg. My favorite movie he did hands down was Rock Star. He's around my age and that movie is so nostalgic to me. And the music was great.
John Cena pulling up on the bike at the end of Daddy's Home was priceless. Mark was also phenomenal in The Lovely Bones. I don't think he's made a bad movie.

Lol yes I did like that ending with John Cena. I never saw The Lovely Bones. I will have to look into it. I forgot about Rock Star. That was a great movie. I don't think I've seen it since high school.
