Your Favorite TV Shows With Gay Charactors?

    There are many TV shows out there with a homosexual charactor. Glee, for one - if you can sit through it, that is.

    One of my favorite shows is Torchwood, although I haven't seen beyond the first season, and have relied on YouTube.
    Captain Jack and Ianto make a great couple, IMO.

    Forget the soapies that have the compulsory gay charactor, what about other shows?

    Will And Grace was one very popular show, and Modern Family is another one, featuring two gay men raising a child together.

    Anyone have a favorite they'd like to add? Lets make a list of all the shows that feature a homosexual charactor.

    I haven't recalled any gay men or women in those shows...

    I will have to include he L Word and Queer As Folk. Have the entire series of The L Word yet forgot to mention it!

    However the detective in The Boondock Saints was fantastic.

    They don't all have gay couples. They have many have gay individuals. The L Word, Queer as Folk, Exes and Oh's, Lip Service, The real L Word (reality TV)
    South of Nowhere are dominated by gays. Most of those shows revolve around lesbians.

    None, really. Although there is a very hetero character played by a gay actor that I do really like. Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother. Not sure if that counts.



    I'm curious what she looks like now. I'd probably still hit it. She was super hot.

    I don't mind a TV show with homosexuals, except when its to shove the sexual orientation in your face.
    I.e., I love watching Ellen....someone rather, she is funny, has my kind of humor, and she doesn't constantly harp on her sexual preference.
    When it gets too 'right in your face', its absurd rather than entertaining. So no thank you.
    I don't care for sexual explicit, vulgar, dumb.

    it comes out in the series finale that Barney was "over-compensating", and he comes out of the closet.
