    Here's the latest . . .

"Assange smeared faeces in Ecuador embassy,' says president.
Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno has told the BBC why his government decided to revoke Julian Assange's asylum."

I have one thing to say to Ecuadorian President Moreno - YOU'RE A LIAR.

Why do you believe he would not receive a fair trial? Do you not believe in the justice system of the US?

He chose his 'profession', knowing that it would likely be breaking the laws of certain countries. Did he not know that breaking those laws would mean that he would have to face those countries' court systems? Hiding away didn't seem like the right thing to do to me...so I'm happy to see that he will have his day in court and defend his actions. I, generally, look up to people who have the courage of their convictions - but Assange doesn't seem to be one of those people.

Assange, with the help of Bradley Manning, exposed wrong doing, possible war crimes in Iraq, by US forces.
Assange, with a unknown source exposed corruption of Hillary Clinton, and the DNC.

Snowden exposed the fact that the NSA is spying on Americans.

Daniel Ellsberg leaked the pentagon papers, exposing the fact, that the US government
Knew as far back as 65, that Vietnam was a lost cause, and yet over 50,000 Americans still died.

Mark Felt leaked info to the press, exposing Richard Nixon’s Watergate corruption.

I don’t see the problem with what any of these men did. How is it now, truth tellers go to prison?

Trump also supports a bunch of authoritarian "governments". You are reaching for apples and oranges when comparing Assange to Trump.

Assange is Australian and Trump is an American. Somebody says Assange is a dupe for Putin. Were that true, Assange would be in Russia and not in England.

I agree with you but the U.S. government will prosecute him because it can. I hope nobody convinced you that the U.S. government is free of corruption.

The US government wants to prosecute all those who expose evidence of war crimes under pretext of national security. Too late for YOU, the evidence is out there for all to see, including YOU. Wearing blinders isn't going to help.

WAR CRIMES have been committed by at least the last 3 administrations, not by Assange.

This whole "conspiracy" charge is just an excuse to prosecute him for what they're really angry at him for: publishing the classified information on Wikileaks (but of course that would be more legally problematic to [directly] go after him for, because of the First Amendment).

That's okay, I understand the mentality of one who doesn't let the facts stand in the way of their prejudice.

Yes, we've all seen it, a gunship opens fire on terrorists armed with RPGs and assault rifles who had been firing at US troops then fires on those who tried to recover their weapons. GOOD FOR THEM!

The facts speak for themselves, I have nothing to do with them and neither do you. My mentality is that war criminals need to be prosecuted for committing crimes against humanity and those who expose war crimes should never be prosecuted for exposing these criminals. Your mentality may be the opposite but I don't give a rat's ass about that kind of convoluted mentality, it is what it is.

YOU see what you want to see or are told what to see. You speak for no one but yourself. I see what the video shows, people being massacred in cold blood as if it was a video game. We each have our own point of view.

"None are so blind as those who will not see."

    What war crimes? Come on, WHAT war crimes? You know your assertion is nonsense. But then again this saying applies to you;

A pattern of genocide and other human rights atrocities conducted by all 3 recent administrations for the benefit of the military industrial complex. It has thus far left a trail of carnage for hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children. If you don't know you never will. It's not my job to convince you of anything, you won't ever see it. Close your eyes.
