As I have already said, the non-aligned movement, which represents the majority of countries in the world, vigorously supports Iran's right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes. Is the New York Times a good enough source for you?

While the UN General Assembly can, and does, make recommendations to the Security Council, the Security Council can, and does, act without recommendations by the General Assembly. Now if you could present some evidence to show that the General Assembly has actually voted in support of any of these resolutions, then you might have a point. But I find that highly unlikely given that the non-aligned movement has voted otherwise.

Although it is worth mentioning that as, to you, UN General Assembly votes represent ''the world,'' then you would argue that ''the world'' recognises Palestine, and ''the world'' wants Israel to sign up to the NPT, unless of course you have double standards.....

Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, etc. When was the last time one of you Jew haters complained about the $1.5 billion we send each year to Egypt? When was the last time one of you Jew haters complained about the $1 billion we sent to Pakistan and the $0.5 billion we send to Jordan or the $490 milllion we send to Palestine?

You have that totally wrong.

Israel's military budget is around $15billion + $3 billion in US foreign aid. In comparison Canada's budget is $22B.

The US military budget does not include the $3 billion to Israel as that comes out of Foreign Aid budget.

Israel buys US military equipment and upgrades with a minimum of 75% of the $3 billion a year they get.
Israel also sells the US military a variety of upgrades and equipment developed and manufactured in Israel.

Those are the facts.

Jonsa, Israel has the largest US foreign aid budget for the smallest population since 1948. Compare US foreign aid to Haiti and it population with that of Israel.

US foreign aid specifically designated for military expenditures of which 75% must be spent with US suppliers. Apart from that there are a couple of tiny grants (a few million) mostly related to health.

I am well aware of the loans and grants Israel receives...and the grants they get automatically to cover the principle and interest on the loans they get..

Look at their population compared to that of Haiti.. and what Haiti receives.
