Add that to the sanctions lifted and you get a Nuclear Iran. Good job Obama.

It's unrealistic that the USA would decide to NOT stand ready to act on the Iran agreement AND expect the other nations in the same agreement to be able to enforce the deal.

If the USA quits the deal, the deal is dead. And, our ability to take rational unilateral action is just not sufficient.

What does that have to do with Saudi Arabia's threat to match Iran's nuclear capabilities?

The sanctions were timing out. And, the nations required to simply continue a meaningful sanctions regime did not back this direction.

Also, sanctions were becoming meaningless, simply because Iran had been living with those restrictions for a long time, so their deterrent power was substantially reduced.

I am not convinced that statement is accurate. What is it based on?

thats weakness, we are dependent on oil for high wage jobs which is how Americans pursue happiness.

iran can't ruin the oil market by being a nuclear power, President Trump and israel will take care of it.

I always tend to think the country that gets the weapon in the first place is the one that stated the race.

Neville Chamberlain appeased the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of them, making it necessary for us to bomb the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of them.

Invasions are soooooooo 2003. Most likely he will begin by hitting them in the pocket book again and then if that doesn't work begin reducing their ability to produce war materials by raining fire from the sky. Alas . . . it's not rocket science.

We should toss it to them first and demand they take action, the when they don't announce we will no longer be held back by previous resolutions in our fight against radical Islamic terrorism and cut our funding to them and tell them to move elsewhere.

Did you notice the Iranians waited until Obama was out of office. They wanted to do it in Trump's face. What will he do about it now?

You can say you want them to something, you can demand the carry out their responsibility and provisions of the agreement and demand they stop Iran. Then when they don't you can demand we tell them to take a hike and cut all funding and give them 30 days to vacate the premises.

    - - - Updated - - -

He claimed he stopped them from building the missles and we were all safer now that he had settled the matter.

    Is that still true?

    - - - Updated - - -

I feel sure they wanted to do it before Obama left office because they knew what he wouldn't do.

What's your proposed course of action?

I think this thread has assembled an adequate level of whine.

It seems like it should move on to what to do next.

Your analogy points rather clearly toward the suggestion that we go to war against Iran because they broke the missile restriction.

    Is that your proposal?

    If not, then what is?

Is Iran seriously trying to replace North Korea as nuttiest country in Asia? You'd think after 5000 years of Persian civilization they'd know better.

OK, since the "they" is "us" just as much as it is anybody else ...

What is it that you think we should do as members of the UN, proposing actions to be taken by UN nation?
