In the past week we have learned that there is a counter intel and criminal investigation into both the russian election interference AND possible collusion with members of the Trump campaign and the evidence apparently is more than merely circumstantial. We also learned that Manafort was paid $10 mill or so by Putin's butt buddy to promote Russian interests, not to mention getting $12 million in payments from Putin's puppet in Ukraine. I am not accusing Donnie of knowing of this collusion, or if in fact it did take place as the evidence seems to be suggesting. At least they are still investigating from July which means something sure as hell went on. Now, if it turns out that Trump's nomination campaign manager or his cohorts colluded with Russian agents/individuals to influence the election (in a "chicken tested" campaign he implemented in Ukraine, as a circumstantial aside), then that would mean that Trump was elected the nominee by treasonous actions on the part of his campaign. this could be a constitutional crisis the likes of which we haven't seen since watergate. Ironic that the Birther King could have his own legitimacy questioned, not by his birthplace, but by treason on the part of his campaign (at the least).
I find it interesting that Trump had never met Tillerson, and now Tillerson, the Russian award-winner, is Secretary of State. I'd like to know who suggested Tillerson.
Once the balls starts to roll, the questions abound. One step at a time, because there is no escape on this one.

Trump has always had rumored connections to the Mob, and the Mob today is largely based in Russia, not Sicily
The Mob today, is a many diverse thing. From Mexico, South America, Asia, areas in the ME.... Russian criminal syndicates only perfected the practice of targeting "Civilians" close to rival factions. A practice shunned by the Sicilians. That being said, no one in big league business in New York, or internationally, has clean hands.
Seeing continuous threads with this fake news by the left is really getting tiresome. Trump won fair and square. The lying crook Hillary lost. Live with it.
Please when did we declare war on Russia or they on us? Without a declared war you cannot have treason.
Trump started out in New York where the every trade union was a subsidiary of the mob, and the government mostly the heirs of Tammany Hall had ruled that everyone had to use union labor. In essence you either dealt with the mob in the seventies and eighties in NYC or you didn't do business. So is the problem Trump or is it situation large created by consecutive Democratic administration who did little or nothing to end mob rule of the trade unions?
By any definition trump is then not guilty of treason. Without a war how do you define who is friend and and who is foe? I find myself troubled by the so-called known wolf phenomenon. Because I object to the slippery slope laid out before us. It is a very dangerous path you tread when you start arresting people because you think at some point in the future they might do something.
Funny, but they didn't have any trouble putting Julius and Ethel Rosenberg in trail for treason for things they allegedly did in peacetime.
We were at war in Korea at the time and it wasn't treason it was espionage that got them arrested tried and executed.
An investigation does not necessarily produce proof based upon what we have so for a tempest in a teapot would be a more apt description.
Yes. a 2005 contract was pertinent in a 2016 campaign, but not as pertinent as this: Flashback: Senator Obama pushed bill that helped destroy more than 15,000 TONS of ammunition, 400,000 small arms and 1,000 anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine Obama traveled to Ukraine with Sen. Dick Lugar in 2005 just seven months after he became a senator, touring surplus weapons stockpiles Most of the small arms and ammunition were left over when Soviets withdrew from Eastern bloc nations, and later dumped in Ukraine The two senators secured U.S. funding to help destroy the weapons instead of leaving them intact Ukraine exported more than 700,000 small arms in 2004-2007, including 101,000 each to Libya and the UK, and 260,000 to the U.S. But most of the ammunition stockpiles – crucial for keeping a standing army battle-ready – were destroyed Ukraine is in a staring match with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has designs on recapturing portions of the former Soviet nation Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-aircraft-missiles-Ukraine.html#ixzz4cLRfbfRP Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook What did President Obama do when his pal Putin invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea after rendering Ukraine defenseless in 2005?
I think you guys are getting caught in the weeds. For the sake of pointing out how idiotic the argument is, how would you feel if it were Iran rather than Russia? The right's attitude toward this is truly shocking after the last 8 years. The things you guys are willing to defend, look past, or ignore. The vindication expressed by Trump and his unconditional lovers about his asinine tweets about being wiretapped... His people were *potentially* swept up in a legal investigation about meddling and collusion by a foreign power in our elections FFS! How can you possibly feel vindication?
