The contract say 2% until 2024. We are on plan. Beside that we could easily achieve the 2% when we do like poland and put firefighters and police budget into defense. We dont do so, because its eye washing.

Germany did come to americas Aid. When you were attacked at 911 it was Germany that showed absolute loyality. Our soldiers stand in Afghanistan even today. Your comment here is an absolute disgrace to our fallen brothers there who were send to Afghanistan because your country was attacked. If you are not even able to show the slightest respect, then i dont see any value in this partnership

According to Donald Trump this week, many aren't paying their 2% and what you said is 7 years away.
According to Angela Merkel, Germany can't depend on USA or GB... When isn't it in fact USA and GB can't depend on Germany and Germany are what's wrong with the EU?; Calling on the EU to unite, under spending, fighting with Britain over Brexit.

I have a feeling that you never really valued "this partnership."

I think that the United States and Germany only have a single shared interest long-term, and that is the expansion and maintenance of free trade policies. Beyond that, the Germans aren't very willing to take direct military action in any scenario.

But yes, you, like most of our NATO allies, were very honorable in your adherence to the agreements of NATO with regard to Afghanistan, which is certainly a case in which you could have abstained with no dishonor on your part. It was a pretty dubious use of the Article.

That, and the expansion of the EU is something most Americans would like to see.

The problem seems to be there aren't any mosques in your state clearly.

    • no religious diversity
    • no cultural diversity
and you have the audacity to lecture me about Afghanistan and 9/11 saying Germany are on plan to pay but can't yet and you know that in 2024 is when this 2% might need to increase.

    Honestly... The nerve.

Maybe Germany should take care of itself on its own.

The intelligence community gave Crowdstrike an incredibly wide berth with respect to accepting their word without any hesitation.
Not one of the 17 intelligence agencies ever inspected the DNC server.

And there are security professionals who state directly that the Russians were not involved:
    http://vesselnews.io/john-mcafee-can-promise-wasnt-russia-hacked-dnc/

"McAfee suggested that there could be political motivation behind accusations that Russia launched cyberattacks on the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and John Podesta, the former chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign."

Political motivations or the motivation to keep the real story out of the media stream.

Britain only left the EU because of the Schengen Agreement and the EURO crises and anthems and all of that.

But if we got rid of those things like Germany, maybe we can have a perfect world again with treaties like the NATO that Germany will have to be walled around with like pre- WWI when France, UK and Russia had treaties.

I'm saying, what good is Germany if Germany can't trust GB or US or be trusted to ensure British exit goes smoothly?

Germany forgets itself and who it's talking to when Merkel says NATO isn't going to protect it.

Ungrateful for all the people that died to ensure Germany and USA are on the same side.
Ungrateful to those asking countries like Germany to pay up.

I don't see the point for any hard feelings. The U.K. can go it's own way. Merkle can put together her little EU army, and bargain with Putin herself, and the US can pull out of NATO.
    It's a win-win for everyone.

I hope you are aware that the USA spends nothing like 2% of it GDP "on NATO". The 2% is a guideline for defense budgets in all arenas.

The US contribution to NATO is about $500mln out of a GDP of 16.5 trillion, or 0.000003%

That is its proportionate share based on its national income, and all NATO allies pay the same proportion, so the USA contributes 22% and Germany 15%.

I don't have a problem bro. I like that you hate Islam. I just wish you'd see merkel for who she really is. She doesn't have the same vision for German future that you do.

Oh so she can't speak English then? Fancy that! By the way, having a phd in quantum physics doesn't make her a good leader. On the contrary, after what she's done to Germany I can't believe how she's so popular.
