Um, correct me if I'm wrong, Seth, but we've been talking about this since last year.

Trump didn't talk about it honestly. He talked about it obnoxiously and ignorantly. The President of the United States shouldn't be calling his constituents "sons of bitches".

I've been watching football my entire life. My family had season tickets to the Giants in all of their stadiums including the Yale Bowl.

I didn't miss the point entirely. He went from your hero to being a fat boy.

    Stat classy.

While veterans may have made some large sacrifices they didn't do it so that we could have freedom. The idea that they did it for that reason is pure propaganda.

Oh, I'm sorry. Fat boy rapist Ben and the "O lineman".

That's good that none of you are referring to him as a patriot anymore.

I read his statement elsewhere and he could have walked back into the tunnel, but he chose not to.

    Good for him...

They need to stop playing the national anthem at sporting events. They are not political rallies. If you want to sing the national anthem do it when you go to work and before you eat.

wow what the hell is wrong with you? I referred to him as an Olineman to illustrate why he is going to say what the team wants him to say, because lineman are team players. that went right over your head as you kept sailing your failboat.

    he's a patriot, he's a good dude.

You are confusing individual freedom with representing a brand. If I am in your store and a customer is wearing a "F America" shirt, that does not reflect the attitude of your business. If you allow an employee to wear the same shirt, it now represents you, your company, and all other employees.

Howard Stern was flying under his own colors.

Good for him. He can do whatever he wants. What if one of your employees represented your company in a manner inconstant with your values?

Why are you triggered over people expressing their opposition to the Steelers' decision to sit in their locker room during the anthem?

You've got that wrong. The KKKer Trump is the most racist President since Woodrow Wilson.

i don't know man, when they play that national anthem and have the soldiers out there and then the jets fly over head and blow off fire works............it's 'merica, **** yeah.

the left just doesn't get it.

well, they get it, they just want to replace it with DNC, **** yeah.

heh whoa i just realized you associate the flag and anthem with politics, and don't want it, i assume because the political effect of the anthem and flag favors the right?

I'm fine with that as well. I'm not saying they should be out there or shouldn't be out there. All I'm saying is that if they are going to choose to be out there then I wish they would have the common courtesy to render the proper respects during the national anthem and not go out there with the sole intent of doing the complete opposite.

I'm not triggered, I'm actually finding that opposition hilarious. No, scratch that. The outrage over Kaspernick quite hilarious. And I'm not even into football. It's peaceful protest, what you guys were vouching for when violent protests at Berkley were breaking out, now you're outraged leftists are part-taking in peaceful protests. Make up your minds.

A lot of people are certainly getting tired of the angry, spoiled, entitled, unpatriotic, attention-whore protester Trump.

Oh sure, we've been talking about it on the internet, and the media pundits here and there, but the NFL and sports media were trying to just sweep it all under the carpet and hope nobody noticed. And the whole political establishment stood mute, averting its eyes, hoping everything would just blow over. And no one in a high position had the balls to call any of this s:censored: out.

Maybe he shouldn't have said "sons of bitches", but I live in the real world where sometimes people say things like that.

I censor myself on here all the time, truth be known.

    It started with him.

The slump in ratings over something so minuscule is showing how sensitive conservatives really are. Will there even be a Super Bowl next year?

The NFL has pimped themselves out to the Department of Defense. Follow the money trail, millions of tax-payer's dollars thrown at the NFL. But taking a knee has nothing to do with that. I suspect viewers are tired of the military madness, though.

Of course they won't. Too bad we can't put a truth spell on those guys like in "Liar, Liar." Then I'd win that bet!

The last time a military person died defending America was 72 years ago in WWII. All who have died since then died in wars of aggression attacking other countries.

Well, not sure about the Germans or Japs were invading America even 72 years ago. Though they were trying to take over much of the world. We were across big oceans from them and they had no means of invading our coastline. Their submarines were a hassle, however. Since that time, we've invaded too many countries to count. North Korea lost three million people, mostly to our bombing. They certainly seem justified in preparing for the next war. We lose less than three thousand people on 9-11 and the world will never hear the end of it.

    That is so offensive

I think people who do not love America are not worthy of the freedoms they have as Americans

The liberal uneducators have really done a number on our society

That and perhaps all the foreigners who have moved here that cause so many liberals to have no respect or allegiance for their country?
