Thanks for your homework assignment, teacher. But I will repeat my simple and universally acknowledged truism,,,that anyone
who critiques or ignores someone's intellectual output better be prepared to justify that rationale with intellectual property of his own.

If you allow people to run over you they will.
    It's just that simple.

You call it a truism, I call it a post hoc fallacy (causal relationship).

(btw - Interesting use of the term intellectual property - I;ve never used it to refer to one's opinion).

I really was simply trying to get you to learn something profoundly useful in understanding human communication.

    Yep simple.

Well that's about as bright (and I'm using that word ironically) as saying that one needn't know anything about medicine to critique a doctor's diagnosis. Or about engineering to comment on the soundness of a bridge. Or of the French language to dismiss the translation of a book from English to French.

Remember, I said one should intellectually justify a dismissal of the intellectual claim of someone else and you had a problem with that
undeniable logic (people should know about the things they pontificate on in order to merit any credibility at all). It seems like nothing has changed.

Yes. It's just that simple, alright.

And now you go all strawman on me.

You just keep piling 'em up in blissful ignorance I guess.

Look, I given you more than enough chance to account for the enormous gaps in your so called arguments and you keep filling them in with even more nonsense.

Feel free to waste the time of someone else.

I mean this sincerely. Understanding what a logical fallacy is and being able to identify them when used in any kind of discussion (either by you deliberately or by others unwittingly) will empower you even more to overcome any form of verbal/intellectual bullying with equanimity.

With all due respect there is no fallacy, logical or otherwise, in saying someone has to have knowledge of a subject in order to critique
the knowledge of another in that particular subject.

You are absolutely correct. I totally agree unless the critique is one of style and not substance.
