Trump's squalid attempts to exploit fallen heroes in his fake crusade against peaceful, respectful expression is not going unchallenged:

The US flag is a symbol of "liberty and justice for all".. Including blacks, gays, transgenders, Jews, Hispanics and women. Respectful protest against racism and social injustice represents American values and true patriotism.

Yesterday the Trump fans were all "Errr Pat Tillman! He was a hero! He would have agreed with Trump! Jerry Jones is a patriot! He demands they stand or be fired. He support Trump! Villanueva! He's a patriot and a hero! Derp!". Then it all came crashing down on them.

Trump should have shut his big mouth. He brought this all on himself, and he deserves the scorn he is getting now.

 

Agree, but you do not **** on one value (Old Glory and Anthem) to promote another value.

Perhaps the hysterical, fake ploy of flag abuse is calculated to distract from presidential incompetence, legislative impotence, and scandal investigations.

If so, the desperate distraction will be a short-lived phenomenon.

Lets not forget Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Called the protesting of the Anthem and Flag by Kapernick and other NFL players.....Dumb and disrespectful. Said if they want to be stupid, theres no law to prevent them from being stupid. Nor dumb and disrespectful.

She did avoid talking about the Stupid and dumb, facing consequences over their stupidity and dumbness. But she does strongly take issue when they are expressing their stupidity and dumbness.

 

Except Jones did make sure all his players were on their feet before the anthem started. Owners, Jerry included, are grateful for Trump taking the heat. See, last week all the NFL owners were racists who "black-balled" Kaepernick, and that's what had other players kneeling. So owners insulate themselves against allegations of racism, and Kaepernick is still unsigned.

 

NASCAR has been declining slowly but surely over a long period of time. The NFL was kicking ass until this knee taking started, then it started over a cliff.

 

Gee, you think the players might be distracted? Might be more focused on this controversy instead of on the game?

 

And they took a knee and the fans voiced there opinion on that loudly. These same fans might not be back as this continues.

 

What exactly do YOU think old glory stands for if NOT liberty and justice for all? Or is it just pageantry to you?

The media NEVER reports: 1.) Kaepernick was not fired, he QUIT thinking he could get MORE money from another team and 2.) he is still being paid millions on his contract.

 

Creating havoc. Inciting racial divides. Focusing away from real topics like healthcare reform, North Korea, taxes.

 

He didn't quit. No team offered him a contract because he's a mediocre player.

 

Nah... Most Americans have faced the fact that Trump is trash and not very bright.. He's just an attention whore. That's why he tweets at 3 in the morning and will say anything without thinking.

 

Do you people have some disease that makes you mention Bill Clinton as a response to almost everything? Bill Clinton has not been President for almost 20 years. Get over it already.
