    Yeah it does.....the year I decided to move down there. Was the first time Dallas and Irving got snow. Light Dusting that covered the ground. They stopped doing whatever and closed up shop. Went home. Schools, businesses, etc etc.

    I was like that don't work in Chicago. Maybe 8 inches of snow and they might not tell ya to come into work. Maybe, if the plows weren't out plowing. Maybe.

    I don't know if I should admit this.But the last 2 years I have seen
    really healthy wooly bears crossing the road { usually on a sunny,warm day }
    in October.I catch them and place in a cardboard box and put in their
    natural habitat.Twigs and leaves and grass.But the last 2 times they
    usually end up dying over night in their cardboard container { shoe box }.
    I don't understand it.
    I guess they prefer to be outside in the elements.
    I thought they could go into dormancy until spring.

    If you are talking about what I think you are talking about we always called them wooly worms.
    Some people think the wooly worms can predict weather.

    It has to do with the thickness of their black band.
    Wooly bears are striped brown & black.
    The wider the brown bands and the milder the winter.
    The narrower the brown band the harsher the winter.

    Of course there is the Queen of potty mouths as in :

    Tallulah! Bankhead
    Who actually used cuss words as if in normal conversation.
    " They like me to ' Tallulah ' you know -- dance and sing and
    romp and fluff my hair and play reckless parts."
    Having left her Home in Alabama as a 15 year old to pursue
    her sate as an attention seeker in New York city.

    Wrong, but it doesn't snow very often. I've been here for 20 years and have been snowed in a handful of times. More often are ice storms and being "iced" in for a couple of days.

    Last big storm we had, I think was 2009. We got something like 23 inches? If my wayback machine is working this morning.

    is whiskey and xanax good or bad for anxiety?

    one is prescribed by the doctor, and the other is prescribed by the bartender.

    How So ? Most of her roles were quite Ladylike.
    Think Disney and - The Parent Trap - { 1961 }
    and in particular a favorite of mine :
    - Mr.Hobbs Takes a Vacation - { 1962 } which I watch
    every summer.

    Sometimes I get hungry for a McDonalds fish sandwich.

    Gotta get one (or two) for lunch now.

    Then gulp it down with a cold cherry coke.

    I used to date this lady for about 3 years and she was on Prozac -- two in the morning and two before bed -- 4 per day.

    I took one just to see what it was like and I was "happy" all day long.

    So they definitely work!

    I suppose that like alcohol you get used to them after a while and then you need to up the dosage.
