    I say go for it. That is unless you are a blue jeans and plaid shirt type then it might look a bit out of place. Then again maybe not.

    I am cooking a pot of bean soup for lunch today. I have company coming for the week-end and have no idea what to fix for a crowd on a cold, cold day. Don't want chilli and thinking maybe a big pot of stew, cornbread, Texas sheet cake. Thought about pecan pie. Suggestions??

    Love the blue... hoping my salon has that one.

    New nail technique, Next Gen, is much healthier than old stuff, but the downside is... it doesnt come in pearl. Thats why you see so much glitter nowdays. Not a big fan of glitter.

    All sounds good. I made seafood and sausage gumbo yesterday. Went the easy way with Zatarain's Gumbo mix augmented with sauteed bell pepper, onion and celery, some leftover wild and long grain rice, half a package of smoked turkey sausage and half a package of frozen cooked seafood mix. Warm enough for cool day.

    Graveyard shift last night.

    Slept-in this morning.

    For brunch I warmed up half a dozen leftover potato pancakes in Picante sauce. Not bad!

    More orange juice for breakfast.

    On my graveyard shift I had 1 call girl, 1 hooker, 5 homeless males, 1 homeless female with a flashlight that was peering into cars, and 2 bearded mountain hippies loitering in a beat up import without any car tags on it.

    My flashlight scares them all away.

    The PBS Nature two part series on cats said that cats are the most successful predator on Earth and one of them may be living in your home with you.

    Definitely true. My kitty keeps my feet warm at night by curling up on top of them on the bed.

    Let me tell you it was a balmy 23 this morning suppose to be in the 20's again tonight actually it has warmed up 3 degrees. It has been a long time since Fl. has been this cold although it did snow several years ago. There is still ice where we dripped the outside faucets.
