Then again Goofy was a boy and they dressed him in pants. To dress or not must have been optional.

Well, that can be a problem too. Especially stopping the free buttwash.

But hey, I can at least figure out which room to use.

No, there were clouds in the west, and I kept my fingers crossed that it was snow but it blew over. Haven't given up yet. Still hoping for snow.

Good morning, barflies. Took 45 min to drive 7 miles to work this morning due to a wreck on a major thoroughfare. I need a donut.

Rave on about climate change....ice age coming would be more like it. My little heeler found an icicle yesterday, and was so fascinated by it she carried it around till it melted. She thought it was a new toy.

Try getting to Tampa on 1-4 when there is a wreck..I was stuck on that thing for hours one day. Not to mention when we were in Texas on 1-45 there was a wreck which had traffic backed up for hours. The day was lost but the upside of the day we met some nice people.

Just to make sure. Are you one of those who doesn't mind sitting in yer
vehicle until the traffic clears.I'M NOT. As soon as I see a major stop of traffic
My brain rolls into high gear.Looking for an exit or maybe a way to make a
U-turn.I even go to the lane closet the nearest exit.
A few months ago I was heading on a major interstate into the expressway.
The traffic was quickly stopping.I made the decision to get in the lane closest
to the concrete barrier { separating the opposite traffic } I even went on the
little patch outside the lane.Did that on my Motorcyle { much easier } years ago
and ended up taking a roofing nail in the rear tire.
I lucked out in my vehicle a few months ago.I quickly worked my way
quickly up around a half mile. Then I saw the accident and there was a couple
open lanes. This was a 6 lane Interstate.I saved at least 30 minutes of wait time.

Which is my point.Cops don't care one lick how long you wait in yer
car or vehicle. They follow procedure. No matter how long it takes.
They don't get paid by the job or by the hour. They just as soon take
half a day.I remember about 5 years ago in the summer I coming back home
    from the big city on my Big Motorcycle.It was a 4 lane road { 2 on each side }
& traffic was moving at a snails pace and there was No traffic in the
opposing 2 lanes.I could see 2 state trooper vehicles up ahead.I decided
to turn around and just use the open 2 lanes. Then I heard the one Trooper
who was milling around acting important scream Out at me.
    DON'T TURN AROUND.Don't Turn Around.
He kept saying it as I turned around and sped off so as not being able to
get a glimpse of me bike, let alone my license plate.
He was propably thinkin' he needed all 2 lanes of the open
traffic for ambulance and wrecker.Well Good for him.I ain't a Trooper.
I don't get paid to yell at people. My time is important also.
This is why Priests and Rabbi aren't Troopers or Cops.
Now If a Priest would have yelled that at me,I would have
    gladly obliged.

a Blue heeler.? A had a friend { fellow pothead and his common law
wife } They lived in a run-down trailer and had a blue heeler.
    It had a dog house and chain lead { about 10 foot. }
I told them many times not to let a dog live that like. But the
dog was very active and hyper. This friend and his common law
girlfriend loved to entertain { only fellow potheads } and he was a
tradesman. He worked as a carpenter then got a contract putting up
drywall. He came home filthy almost always and then started right away
fixing meals { he Loved to cook } and his Frig was loaded to the gills
with really high quality food.He bought a run-down trailer out in the
country from some little old lady and it had about 8 acres. His Dog
{ his name will come to me } at least had a place to run around when the
owner came home. But the owner still kept the dog housed in a dog house
tied to a chain { I think the chain got a little longer }.
I was always afraid of that dog when it was loose.I'm generally unafraid
of dogs. But this dog was way too hyper and aggressive. The owner generally
reeked of pot since he smoked every chance he got.At least I got him to get
a much better Trailer which he fixed up real nice.Added a room with a custom
wood-burning stove.Nice windows and flooring. But his Trailer always reeked
of Pot or Pot and Incense. And he also smoked cigs.

On the menu for brunch this morning is potato pancakes again. These have eggs and onions in them so you get carbs, vegie, and protein all at once.

Did not feel like cooking while I was sick the past 4 days. Just drank orange juice and ate bananas.

Out of 2 small spuds and 1/4 onion and 2 eggs I got 9 palm sized potato pancakes. They are cooling and blotting now.

I'll have more o/j with it since the o/j still seems tasty and good.

Took me about 72 hours over 4 days to get over the latest flu. Last year I was not sick at all, nor the year before. So I am 1 in 3.

It always feels good to get well after being sick, and you wake up with a voracious appetite.

The East Coast from Florida to Maine is getting buried in snow today.

My other sister in D.C. said it was all over the ground this morning when she drove to work.

    Wrecks wreck everything.

Most people are just driving too fast or else do not pay attention.

Where I live you are most likely to be killed on the freeway by (1) an old man who is DUI, or (2) and old woman talking on her phone, or (3) a young woman texting while driving, or (4) a male juvie racing his car or truck.

We have two dogs and a night they stay in my workhouse which is heated in the winter and cool in the summer. You might say they are spoiled but my theory is if you are going to have an animal treat them like you would like to be treated if you were a dog. They have a box of toys to play with and get the best of food.. My dogs are more intelligent than some people. I spend a lot of time training them and teaching them manners. They will never be chained, when they are outside someone is with them or they are in a fenced area.

My cat sleeps with me on top of the bed.

If I had a dog it would sleep with me also on top of the bed.

If you have several pets they can keep each other company.

But if you have only one it needs your companionship.

Pets are just like people -- mainly like children -- endless curiosity and always hungry or sleepy.

I-4 is one of the most dangerous roads in Florida, I drove it every day for about 6 months. People take ridiculous risks and it is nothing to see someone acting out road rage on that highway. Stupid people. Traveling a road daily you would see the same people and you would get to know their driving habits. I still remember some of the idiots..lol.

Mine stay inside with me during the day. When the border collie has to go outside he will come get me and I can always tell what he needs because he gives me a look that I have learned to recognize. I had one border collie that thought he could talk and when he started his talking you had to pay attention. He was my heart and this is the reason I have this border collie but he is the silent type, he doesn't try to talk. I wish he did.

Yes, Im one of those people whos happy to wait in traffic. First off because I have my phone, Sirius radio and heated seats (when its cold) and usually a bottle of water... and secondly because I think people who try to bypass a traffic jam think theyre better than the rest of us... and I dont like that attitude. :nana:
