I've seen these sorts of laws before, and they are abusive. I am totally against discrimination, but C-16 in Canada, for example, is not about discrimination. It is about legislative compelled speech. California has passed similar laws.

Nope, it was intentional. Mack is a girl who thinks she's a boy. At most she can become a transgendered boy. She can never become a boy (or man).

 

The unfair part is at the least, she's taking testosterone, (some say she's also taking anabolic steroids) as part of her "transition." Testosterone not made by your own body is a banned substance for most athletes.

I am over a boy having to have testosterone administered so he can be the same as the other boys. You need to get over that.

 

Steroids are hundreds of times more potent than the levels this person is administered. That is why testosterone is listed separately from other steroids in the rules and exception is given for people who receive those treatments. It is also why testosterone therapy is not harmful like steroids are. Your want to make them the same thing is false.

 

No one is in jail for not using the correct pronoun so please do stop lying and pretending that is a thing.

 

It is about discrimination, according to the way the law was explained.
If one uses the wrong pronoun, nothing. But if they do so because they want to discriminate, then legal action may come into play.
