I don't know who this writer is, but coming from a San Fran paper this is surprising. And he's right, Americans love their president and they should. The left is merely running on hate and nothing more, they have no serious policies to run on except to raise taxes and open the borders to anyone who wants to come here. The left seems to believe they can win by moving farther to the left, often at the expense to everyone who's right of them.

The Hate Trump 24/7 Media's message is wearing thin except to those who feed off the hatred they put on the air.

On a side note, has anyone noticed how Trump has backed off publically bashing AG Sessions? I'm wondering if Sessions has something good in the works and if he's going to release it as an October surprise. If Sessions can factually expose the corruption on the left then the only people who would still be leftist loyalists would be the extreme left, people comfortable with associating and supporting corrupt politicians, and your every day haters.

    I really am struggling to understand his popularity;
I also didn’t understand why people liked Obama as much as they did but I had a few people explain their views and it made sense. I still didn’t agree but I understood.

When I ask someone why they support trump there are a few automatic responses:
    • Immigration, specifically the border wall - most of our illegal immigration comes from people that have simply overstayed their visa so a boarder wall will be ineffective.
    • Tax reform, the middle class and small business are largely unaffected and the only permanent
    • sections only benifit the super rich and mega-corporations that have more money than they know what to do with.
    • Korea, I’ve not heard specific policies that led to this - most experts believe it was the explosion that leveled their testing and pressure from China - N Korea has explicitly stated he wasn’t the cause
    • Health Care, recently announced he was not going to bring down pharmaceutical costs and his plan to make health insurance better made it more expensive
    • Draining the swap, that’s a joke - his administration is a revolving door of corruption
    • Debt/Deficit, the plan seems to be ignore it

He has blatantly lied to the American people and especially his supporters

Can one of you that support him explain why - without partisan rhetoric if possible

You make a post filled with partisan rhetoric talking points, then ask for a response to it without partisan rhetoric.

    Interesting.

Trump is between 39 and 41%, which includes the states where he is really liked and those dozen states he is below 30%.

None of what I posted is partisan, it’s verifiable fact. Which point are you taking issue with?

Now look who is twisting knowing their Special Man is being erased from the annuals of Political History.

Obama and his legacy stands like a Colossus over the miniature Trump, who will soon be gone.

Job approval bestween 40-49% RealClearPolitics. You don't have to like the man to like what he is accomplishing.

Job approval. Don't like it so just ignore it. Typical for true believers.

No they weren't look at the facts Obama deported a ton of illegals. The wall prototypes were a bust and Americans are now supposed to pick up the tab for a 22 billion dollar wall on top of 1.5 trillion in tax cuts. He's a bad hombre.

Healthcare reform was a giant fail. What happened to repeal and replace?

Does this administration even have a foreign policy for Syria and NK?

    These are all legitimate.

I agree with the Iran deal as the treaty allowed them enough fissionable material to develop a nuclear weapon but not enough to develop nuclear power. The trade war is not going to work out in our favor and I don’t know enough about the Paris Accord to argue either way.

So the entire reason of Trump is to delete Obama? Is that really a compelling winning argument? Instead of just being anti-Obama (remember, Republicans stopped most of his policies while he was in office) why not actually work to make things better for America?

was Obama called a racist who separated families by sending people back to a country they didn't know? admit it, Obama's deportation numbers were a fraud and it was uncovered by, of all people, the LA Times. and from I've heard, the wall prototypes worked as designed. Where did you hear they were a bust?

Healthcare is a bit more complicated because it's hard to take back a freebie once someone starts giving it out. Trump controls the oval office, not congress. Obamacare should be repealed, but not replaced, especially since more Americans are working and will get insurance through their employers or can afford to buy it on their own.

What policy would you like to see for Syria and NK?

Erasing Obama's job killing new regulations is a win in my book which actually does make things better on main street.

but of course there were no job killing regulations. Which is why he holds the record for most consecutive months of jobs creation of any US president in history, lol.
