The left is going into full desperation mode because even leftist polls now show the GOP keeping power in the midterm elections.

Well we are judged by the company we keep. Not sure who is worse, Trump, or his supporters.

Either one isn't as bad the Democrats and their Cult following. That's when you know you have hit the bottom of the barrel and come across the worse of the worst.

Yea like his 1.8% mean GDP growth rate over all 8 years......impressive. It's why Hillary lost.

For Trump stooges, their emotional attachment to their messiah causes them to imagine love and hate are the operative public attitudes.

For most Americans, it is more a matter for the head than of the heart, and most have consistently registered their considered opinion that he stinks. No previous POTUS has been assigned such a consistently negative regard from the inception of a presidency for so long, relentlessly.

It began with 2.9 million more Americans voting for his opponent, and that public rejection has persisted throughout his tenure.

    That's the empirical reality.

    Love is blind.

Trump is not popular is the fact.
And in Trump's first two years, his GDP has been less than Obama's last two years. How about that?

True, but it's necessary to reference the global context as well. The comparative growth can't be ignored:

Whilst the US recovered from the economic collapse of 2007 faster than did Europe from 2008-2016, Europe surpassed the US last year:

Sure, the United States is growing at a nice clip. But Europe's economy is expanding at an even faster rate.

Economic growth in the 19 countries that use the euro currency was 2.5% in 2017, according to official data published Tuesday. Growth in the 28-member European Union also reached 2.5% last year.

It's the best period of growth for both groupings since 2007, putting Europe just ahead of the 2.3% expansion posted by the U.S. in 2017.

The annual GDP in Trump's years has been lower.

Quarterlies don't count. :) But Obama beats Trump there as well.

And you are following Trump exactly why? Because he make you think you are getting revenge on the system that has failed you?

    Here, check 2016 vs 2017.

How about you explain WTF you're talking about? Obama's last year in office the GDP growth was 1.5% he was at 1.8% or 1.9% when I included 2015 but have it your way, Trumps first year was 2.3% and it was that low due to inheriting a 1.2% 1st Q from Obama.

    Annual GDP means annual GDP.

One average counts, the final one. Means and averages don't count.

Trump's GDP fails alongside that of Obama's last two years.
