What's wrong with wearing a bag over your head when you embarrassingly lose?

The article said other minorities (aside AAs) complained.

And it only listed Blacks and Asians. I bet the Asians didn't do the complaining.

The first official death in the revolutionary war was a free black man who died defending us from British bullets.

Crispus Attucks, with a whole group of white men standing behind him, told the British regulars to f**k off when they told him to move.

    Hence began the revolutionary war.

    No.

    Thousands.

One entire regiment from Rhode Island was in fact integrated roughly half black troops and half white troops. They were instrumental at the battle of Monmouth and saved the rest of the army from defeat.

Their complaints are childish bullshit regardless of who they are the principal is a fool

    Not entirely accurate.

That was the Boston Massacre which was a few years before the revolutionary war.

On the other hand the war started at the battles of Lexington and Concord and another noted black solder named Prince Augusta fought there and was wounded. He later became one of the few troops to serve throughout the entire war until Yorktown.

That event triggered the point of no return for the US.

Most historians consider it the start of the War.

Did not know about the man you brought up so thanks for the information, I'll definitely look that up.

Not really the boston massacre was a prelude and actually most do not consider it the start of the war.

What do you want here......a back and forth list of historians with one saying it is and one saying it isn't?

We can do that if you like but frankly it sounds kinda boring.

You probably go with Ft. Sumter being the start of the Civil War, that's just the way you think.

Gee, I wonder what year "party like it's" would be acceptable for a prom theme? I can't think of any year where minorities couldn't claim to be offended. How about party like its 1968?

Some times the pendulum swings way too far in the right direction winding up hung up on the fringe.

Sorry missed that at the end of the paragraph. Why would 1776 offend HIspanic students?

Notice how they don't give a hoot if it offends anyone of British heritage.

This should not have been an issue but this especially not an Asian issue.

I could see a problem if this was the celebration of the attack on Ft. Sumpter by Southern terrorist forces. The prom was in Philedelpia where the Declaration of Independence was declared so what in the was the principle applogizing about.

In 1776 the vast majority of people here were of British heritage so the Revolutionary War was a family fight.

The Revolutionary War was not about slavery and slavery was not an issue until after the war and the Constitution was being developed.
