The police are not meant to ever be judge jury and executioner. At the time, they had nothing but suspicions that these three men had perpetrated a shooting. They were still innocent in the eyes of the law. Allowing police to execute people based on suspicion would be a death blow to this country.

This situation where police gun down unarmed fleeing suspects has GOT to be stopped. These people are dying for the crime of running away. They’ve been convicted of nothing, an investigation hasn’t even begun and this guy is dead.

The possibility that he might have posed a danger to someone else is not good enough. Everyone might be a danger to others.

According to FBI statistics based upon info gathered from police departments around the nation, blacks make up almost half of all unarmed police shooting victims while being only 13 percent of the population. I’m not going to say it’s racism, but it’s something. Something is wrong here be it in the training or the method in dealing with suspects or whatever. Rose absolutely represented a THREAT to the law abiding, based on the GLARINGLY INCRIMINATING CIRCUMSTANCES...which are all the police had to go on...they had no idea if he was armed; they DID KNOW that they pulled him over in a car matching the description of a vehicle used in an ATTEMPTED MURDER SHOOTING, with its REAR WINDOW SHOT OUT, and GUNS on the FLOORBOARD...from which he was fleeing.

The police had no idea if he was armed, or not, but the EVIDENCE KNOWN AT THE TIME, made it likely he was.
