our high tax is our choice and not your concern, either you pay what we do or stay home...and you fail to mention you have a huge advantage on the dollar exchange rate so you're being a whiner about our taxes...right now your dollar is worth 25% more so if you came to where I lived and pay a 5% (cdn) gst you're still up 20%...

I've probably been to 16 different foreign countries in my life time and Canada was the only one who asked me if I had any guns.

I answered no but they never searched me. If I knew I wasn't going to be searched I would have packed.

 

our dairy market is stabilized so the farmers can survive, they're shielded from over supply and below cost prices but they aren't really subsidized...if american dairy farms had the same system they wouldn't need subsidies and wouldn't be going bankrupt due to over supply and low prices.

 

well there's only two countries you can travel to without flying so obviously the other countries are not going to bother asking because you'd never get the guns on the plane when leaving...

if you're honest with border security and get rejected for carrying a gun you'll only be turned back, if you lie and get caught there are serious consequences...as a RCMP officer told me once, "you can lie to the local police, you can lie to the RCMP, you can lie to the judge but never lie to border security, they have awesome powers and can make you regret that you did"

Your taxes are ridiculously high and I refuse to pay them. Fortunately my motorhome holds 50 gallons of gas which is plenty for my short trips to some of your beautiful parks and my refrigerator is nice size and plenty of storage for dry goods. I buy nothing up there.

Well.. we knew for sure Hilly was hardcore establishment fodder. I suspected the same would be true with Trump but, did not know for sure.

You are the one that is trying to spin things and apologize for Trumps obviously dense comment.

There are no tariffs on "shoes" and a most other US goods sold in Canada.

Regardless - Trump any way you slice or dice it - Lord Trump was demonizing Canadians for shopping in the US. What was even more dense was connecting this to tariffs when there are no tariffs on shoes.

 

I don't think Trump was demonizing Canadians for shopping in US, that just makes no sense and as for shoe tarrifs in Canada.
