    Probably ought to find a law that needs to be enforced before you summon law enforcement. That is one of those prerequisite thingys.

    So, don't you think it would have been better for Jim had he told the truth in the first place? Even Jim's defenders said that the situation was abhorrent and that it was implausible that Jordan didn't see anything.

    And as a coach, it was inappropriate for Jim to be showering and in the sauna, playing King of the Sauna with these college kids.

    Your attitude is the reason males don't come forward to report sexual abuse.

    Strauss allegedly preyed on male students during physicals, groping them to the point of making them ejaculate, according to one nurse who witnessed it and recounted the story in a video produced by alleged victims and obtained by POLITICO.

    Well first you intimated it was inappropriate because of age. Now because he was an ASSISTANT coach. He was as much a "kid" as they were. Guys hanging out in the lockerroom.

    Are you now saying we should not allow homosexuals in men's locker rooms?

    That's just your imagination. I have always stated how Jim should have acted as a coach. He was their coach, not their playmate. He was being paid to be their coach.

    Crownline, you've pointed out the most salient flaw in this grotesque affair. Nothing here is judicable. The statute of limitations has long since run its course on every conceivable permutation of events alleged. There's no available path to bring this to a 'finder of fact' in a criminal court. Therefore there is nothing for law enforcement to investigate.

    That's your allegation. I find it suspect because you know there is no legal venue avaliable for the dispassionate adjudication of your claims of criminal acts. You know that your assertions will never face evidentiary rule, cross-examination or test of any kind. It's contemptible, your actions here, IMO. Grotesque rumor mongering.

    You lose the debate with false accusations. I've never mentioned criminal acts, I've only questioned Jim's integrity. I think Jim should be held accountable for turning a blind eye then, and for lying about it now.

    We started out with a couple people making claims against Jim, now we're up to 7. I suspect more will come forward.

    I am having an increasing problem with folk coming forward decades after an event and pretending to have a clear recollection of not only what happened but what was said. We desperately need a statute of limitations for these accusations and an actual presumption of innocence. For heavens sake, the perp has been dead for years!

    In many states coaches, teachers, etc. are "mandatory reporters" of any abuse. To not report would be to break the law. I'm not sure about Ohio laws.

    I don't care. They were college kids and their teachers and coaches have a duty to protect them.
