Same goes for owning cars. No cars, no more deaths from car wrecks. Sell your car, unless you like hypocrisy! Be an example to the rest of us.

Oh, but you need your car. And you like owning one. No matter. They kill so many innocent people every year. I know you are concerned about deaths. Or is it only particular kinds of death? Unless it involves your own death, and you are very particular about that death.

Let's not forget that murder by gun usually leaves a slug to use as ballistic evidence, murders by other means are harder to track down the culprit unless there are eyewitnesses.

So, when people could arm themselves, they were less likely to be the victim of a bully, and violent crime? Makes sense. Lots of sense.

That is the next step. Get rid of everything that kills, and then go after the source of all deaths involving people. Start with the ones who believe absolute security exists in this world of the living. If only they can remove those things that people use to kill others. Problem solved! Yes, for the naive, shallow thinkers.

Yet they can recognize the problem when we use it against them.

Just goes to show they know that what they are saying is false, but they do it anyway.

Of course - they are forced to argue with fallacious appeals to emotion, ignorance and/or dishonesty because they have nothing else.

What's the homicide clearance rate in Chicago?

As for the slug ballistics, ever heard of CoBIS or the Maryland ballistic databases that never solved a single crime, yet cost millions of dollars to implement before being abandoned?

I already proved you wrong that it hasn't been the case in Australia.
And how?... just like the Ozzies did it.

You didn't prove anything. You presented a logical fallacy.

The homicide rate in Australia started going down in 1989 and kept going down while banning guns.

The homicide rate in the US started going down in the 90's and we sold more guns than ever.

Rather besides the point that they tossed in strict gun control laws.

People always break the law. But with that many guns around in the US,... well look how many people get shot and or killed compared to your random other country. Statistically... it's not proving one bit that it's safer there because of guns, but the opposite.

Australia has more guns now than it did in 1996.

I can't say that's the way it goes in countries with strict gun control laws in say Europe.

That's far less lethal than a gun.

It went up at the beginning, but it pays off.
And the population went from 18 to 23 million people... 20% increase.

I did prove that with strict gun laws,... that it got safer, not less safe.
The entire idea that you need a gun to protect yourself.... that's a fallacy.

I proved that the more guns that are sold in the US, the more the homicide rate went down.
