Well I stated to someone that my Messiah was Jesus, and then you entered the discussion.

If you don't understand why you did that's not really my problem.

 

So you're not familiar with this? Nonexistence, and existence, are extreme views.

 

Explain how something can extremely not exist.

 

I would ask questions. When did you determine that? How did you determine that? Is that going to be your sole identity? Is that what you want to be known for?,,,,I would listen. I may not like it but I would always love my child though I may not accept his/her behavior/

So, yes, Jesus is in the mind. There may have been a Jesus. We know something of what is attributed to Jesus. But largely Jesus is in the mind. He's a construct the purpose of which is to affect the heart/mind of man.

No rabbit hole. Jesus exists, but where is he, in your mind. What does that have to do with anything? Well, it has a lot to do with a lot of things. For example, if you realize that you realize that Jesus is you. His heart is your heart.

No, you're the one who made all the claims. Jesus does this, he doesn't do that. "Jesus can't change the hearts of men". "So he would rob people of their free will? No that isn't the point." Jesus is a Messiah. Things either exist or they don't exist. I made a claim, I can't back it up. Blah blah blah. On and on. Claim after claim.

 

I did not hold you to task on any of your claims about Jesus because they are not provable.

You made the claim that there is something between existence and non existence. You didn't support this claim.

That's the only claim I called you out on.

 

You stick to existence and non-existence and miss life. Life is between those two extremes. Between the two claims. Between gay and straight. Between right and wrong. Between red and blue.

Why do you argue about "how you respond to your child ".

This not an arguable question .

This is why there is so much division. If has nothing to do with the president or congress. It had to do with the people that feel it necessary to argue with everyone about everything.

1. If you are responding to my post, I never said anything about trying to talk them out of it. I would never suggest anyone do that.

 

My sister in law is a very "Christian" woman. Her son came out as gay so she started reading him the riot/scripture act and pretty much debasing him. After a few months of this he left....THE STATE. He now lives as far from her and her family as he can get, has married his love and those of us that actually care about him are just happy he got out rather than doing what too many people have done in this situation...he is still alive.
In my opinion this woman is about as disgusting a person as there can be and she has received what she deserved....she lost her son and will never get him back. If you think that is worth pleasing the sky fairy then you deserve it as well.

 

Love him/her, support him/her, care about him/her.
