Nobody knows the future with any degree of certainty. We made the best choice with the data available.

I would be surprised if she is not a hardcore Trumper - at least, as long as Lyin' Don continues to win the hearts of Mississippians.

You mean the lies and distortions the left's media machine ginned up regarding a poor quality smart phone video? Or claims about associations based on old pictures? You mean the worn out pathetic claims about racism the left seeks to destroy people with?

You made conclusions about poverty and education as an explanation for voting patterns. I provided evidence to refute your claims against the citizens of Mississippi.

As a purely empirical, non-partisan matter, there is a demonstrable high degree of level of education with a state's voting patterns.

I cannot stop your pretending that, despite my not having ever noted race.

Fun stuff..... Over at the WAPO this morning, the comments sections are filled with the liberal temper tantrum... "that evil", "racist",

When someone pointed out this was the first woman elected to the Senate from MS, the liberal mob howled even louder.

    Yes, I smiled....

I cited empirical data that Mississippi ranks as the least-educated and poorest state in the nation (and since posted its also being ranked worst in health.)

I noted that those are among factors that demonstrably contribute to voting choices.

In predicting her victory based upon that data, I sincerely hope that Hyde-Smith can contribute to improving the lot of all Mississippians.

And I posted empirical data that points to California being ranked similarly, or worse, and votes in a completely opposite way.

Being the poorest state had nothing to do with why the former Democrat won. Otherwise the leftness and their Lame Scream Media wouldn't have been cheerleading and doing the splits over a run off.

But that being said.....face the reality. That your Demos wont be able to count on Collins and Murkowski to help your kind out.

    They now are irrelevant.

Oh you didn't need to opine.....you were schooled on what your comprehension never knew.

It was a huge mistake for the MSM to speak against Beauvoir, which is simply a preserver of history.

Cindy Hyde-Smith posed with the Enfield 1853 rifle-musket (manufactured in the UK), grooved barrel, with about a 3 round per minute firing rate. The barrel was overly long to make it effective with a bayonet. History, history, at its best. This rifle-musket was used all over the world, including the Union.

The left, and their propaganda ministry are one trick ponies. Just call all non-approved humans racists, in hopes they are erased.

Anything and everything flows to that. What an empty and despicable objective.

West Virginia is considered the least educated state in the United States based on university education with only 19.2% of West Virginians over the age of 25 years having attained a Bachelor’s degree.
    Virginia

Virginia, officially the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a state in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States located between the Atlantic Coast and the Appalachian Mountains. Virginia is nicknamed the "Old Dominion" due to its status as the first English colonial possession established in mainland …

Oh and it appears Natty got that part wrong too. Imagine that.

West Virginia....where the Demo Manchin held onto his seat.

What makes this race an even better win.....is that Crank Kamala Harris and Sparticus Booker showed up to help Espy out.

This loss shows those 2 Demos wannabe stars failed. Like they did with Georgia.

    Reasonable observation MMC.

It also points to the despicable depths the Progressives are will to go. Elimination of non-approved humans is their objective. It's as simple as that. Everyone should be paying attention to that.

    ;)

The National Census Bureau conducted a research entitled the “American Community Survey” which was aimed to assess the attainment of persons over the age of 25 years in each state. During the survey, the Bureau relied on a sample of about 3.5 million households from all states in the US with no regard to their respective legal residency status and used phone interviews, questionnaires, and home visits in the collection of the required information. Based on the data obtained from the American Community Survey, one can establish the least educated states in the country by identifying the states which had the lowest percentage of persons of 25 years or older who holds a Bachelor’s degree. Other thresholds included the percentage of high school graduates as well as residents holding an advanced degree in relation to a state’s over-25 populations. Using this threshold, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Arkansas were established as the least educated states in the US with none of the states having a percentage surpassing 23%.

    West Virginia
West Virginia is considered the least educated state in the United States based on university education with only 19.2% of West Virginians over the age of 25 years having attained a Bachelor’s degree. The low number of Bachelor degrees in West Virginia is also linked to the low percentage of West Virginian residents over the age of 25 with advanced degrees of 7.4% which was also the lowest in the country. The reason behind West Virginia’s prominence in the list of least educated states in the US is not entirely known as West Virginia is home to some of the best universities in the country which include, University of Charleston, West Virginia State University, and West Virginia University.

It was a nice try to help Natty save some face. Looks like it didn't work.

Funny how the leftness Gets Mississippi as the least educated in 2018 while an election is going on, and West Virginia held the title from 2015, 2016, and 2017. Miraculously Mississippi takes that lead in the Least Educated in 2018. Got to have the TDS Narrative with Trump voters, huh?

To identify America’s most and least educated states, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed the percentages of adults who have completed at least a bachelor’s degree in each state from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2015 American Community Survey (ACS). The percentage of adults who have completed at least high school or its equivalent also come from the 2015 ACS. Median household income, health insurance coverage rates, employment by industry, food stamp recipiency, poverty rates, and income inequality also come from the 2015 ACS. Income inequality is measured by the Gini coefficient, which is measured on a scale from 0 to 1, with 0 representing perfect equality and 1 representing total inequality. The Gini is also published by U.S. Census Bureau. We also reviewed annual average unemployment data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for 2014 and 2015.
