It would be a diversion if I followed the comic strip layout of your posts and put up a bunch of meaningless comic strip like BS.

What I posted was simply a fact, and a correction from a claim you made in your post. That's called debate.

You might try engaging in it at some point.

538 is right. Hyde-Smith was a poor campaigner. She was the Governor's choice. I really don't understand why folks from one region of the country expect folks from other regions to think identical to them, have the same politics of them. Each of us is an individual with our own reason why we live the way we do, vote the way we do. I really get peeved at folks from the northeast and west coast trying to influence our elections in Georgia. It's none of their business whom we elect or whom I vote for. Just like it none of my business to tell the folks in New York or California whom to vote for.

the least educated, you do know Obama won on the least educated voter's shoulders. In 2012 Obama won the some High School vote 64-35 over Romney, High School Grads 51-48. Romney won the college grads 51-47 over Obama. If you just wanted the educated to vote, Romney would have been president instead of Obama. Both G.W.H. Bush and Dole won the college graduate vote over Bill Clinton, but Bill swamped both with the some High School vote. Both Gore and Kerry won the uneducated vote while G.W. Bush won the college grad vote. Fact is until 2016 the Democrats relied heavily on the uneducated vote. Now you get peeved they, the uneducated changed their voting habits in 2016,

You'll have to explain how your noting that California has the highest supplemental poverty rate refutes my noting the empirical demographic realities I cited and to which I provided links:

Mississippi is the least-educated, poorest state in the nation.

That is not an indictment of Mississippi or its people, merely a statistical reality that is relevant to its voting pattern.

I certainly don't. Far from it. Americans everywhere should vote their perceived interests.

I do expect demographic factors to be significant in determining their political proclivities, and level of education is one of those.

Some may not consider it "pc" to openly acknowledge the degree of correlation, but it is what it is, and honestly acknowledging it is not an indictment of anyone, no more than referencing gender or age as factors.

Do college grads have a monopoly on wisdom?

I bet you dont put blacks in mississippi who vote democrat in the too-stupid catagory along with white conservatives

Because at 37% mississippi has the highest percentage of black people among the states

    LOL

No, let's agree it's an indictment of all the citizens of Mississippi, a racist one at that, and you've made it as an explanation for why they voted for a politician from a non-approved party.

My mention of California is part of a empirical demographic reality, and as it relates to poverty, counters you claim that such a status compels a citizen to vote a certain way. Obviously that is a false conclusion.

Further, California is ranked 43rd in terms of educational proficiency, not far behind Mississippi. Washington D.C., a bastion of liberal/progressivism, is ranked 50th.

California is one of the most populous states in the nation, which likely hosts a variety of school systems within it. Still, the average scores aren’t stellar. Just 28% of students are considered proficient in reading, and the state is also in the bottom 10 for scores in math and science.

By "demographics", I assume you're referring to Espy's felony indictment for criminal misuse of government funds.... or are you making a racism defense? Why aren't you celebrating the first election of a woman in MS to the Senate of the United States? Isn't this not a banner day, just like the one that saw ms Blackburn in TN become the first woman in TN to the Senate of the United States?

I see the racism card being thrown out here, and I have to wonder why. Is it because a conservative woman was the candidate, and because it so directly confronts the liberal feminazi movement, this is truly what liberals now fear?

Public hangings refers to actions of the state's legal system being carried out in full view of the citizens.

What about them? MS has a highly disproportionate share of the black population. The black population nationwide has the least eduactional achievement. Blacks vote 95% for Democrats.

I have accurately cited empirical demographic data.

Nowhere have I referenced your "wisdom", "too-stupid" characterizations, or racial profiles.

Those may be your interests, they have nothing to do with what I cited.

That is why she won. She's not particularly more charismatic than other women or better looking than other women or a great debater (although she handled Espy well in the debate).

She won because we can count on her to support Trump policies. Period.

That's fine, but education alone doesn't correlate with voting habits. If it did, you'd have had Republican presidents from 1980-2008 as that is whom college grad voted for. Then a four year stint with Obama and back to a Republican president in 2012 as Romney won that groups or block votes. Of course in 2016, Hillary Clinton won the College grad vote.

I wonder how much charisma has to do with those who are only High School grads or less. In 1980 and 84 they voted for Reagan over Carter and Mondale. Reagan definitely the more charismatic. In 1992 and 96 they went for Bill Clinton, no doubt about Bill being more charismatic than either G.H.W. Bush or Bob Dole. Dole had the personality of a wet mop. Ditto Hillary in 2016, she came across as aloof, elitist, and fake. Trump certainly wasn't fake and one could say he was more charismatic than Hillary. Obama had the charisma in both 2008 and 2012 over McCain and Romney, HS or less went to Obama. Just a thought.

Former democrats who turn republican to get elected in a republican state are not noted for honoring campsign debts after getting elected

False. I have not "indicted" anyone. I honestly noted controversies concerning a candidate's statements, and indicated why I expected her to win in Mississippi despite her running what Republicans and Democrats alike acknowledge was a poor campaign.

She was a John Stennis/Blue Dog type democrat. She was born a little Baptist girl who really didn't know what crucible she was getting into running for office to go to Capital-W town. She'll learn her spurs.

If she don't do what she said she would do we won't let her stay.

Why point out data about education in mississippi if you dont think its important?

Of course you are slandering whites and hoping no one remembers that mississippi has the highest percentage of blacks in the nation

Nowhere did I ever suggest that "education alone" correlates with voting habits.

It is one demographic factor with a fairly high degree of correlation with a state's political preference. It is not a criticism of anyone.

There are other demographics which interrelate. E.g.,

    The 2017 America’s Health Rankings

    HEALTHIEST STATES

    1 Massachusetts

    2 Hawaii

    3 Vermont

    4 Utah

    5 Connecticut

    LEAST HEALTHY STATES

    1 Mississippi

    2 Louisiana

    3 Arkansas

    4 Alabama

    5 West Virginia

    http://time.com/5063368/healthy-unhealthy-states/

Do folks become upset when it is noted that their state is not as healthy as others?

Recognizing disparities is not an attack upon anyone.
