Yes, because it has to be on the opposite extreme of the absolute groveling cowardice displayed thus far.

I argued that Trump has done nothing to punish the Saudis. And, as I tend to be, I was right.

I would refuse to sell any weaponry to the bastards until they come clean, and yank the Clown Prince out of the line of succession to the Throne.

It is not a talking point. It is a statistic.

I agree that income tax is not the only consideration. The government busts your ***** when it comes to gasoline taxes. And Bill Gates pays the same sales tax on a Big Mac that you do. He can probably afford a better car than you that gets higher mileage (but has higher sales tax). I don't know how to make workers at Wendy's enjoy the same lifestyle as Jeff Bezos.

He printed a few trillion dollars and passed it out to his friends. It wasn't too hard to not do that every year and so the deficit went down because he wasn't driving it up. The recovery was the worst in American history. The average recovery is 18 months. But hey, eight years is not so bad. We didn't have anything better to do.

But hey if you are a first year econ student, couldn't we completely erase the deficit with a massive tax increase? It's easy, right? I mean if you own a business and you want to make an extra million dollars, you can just raise prices, right? A $10 plate of spaghetti? We can charge $150 and the math is simple. We make an extra million.

What should the Saudis have done to punish the US for Charlottesville? Should they decide who should be the next president?

Almost completely factless opinion with a little condescending bullshit thrown in. Perfect trumpian defense.

He could leave. But I would advise him to wait until he has been accused of a crime. You don't quit just because the press hates you.

I take it you aren't a first year econ student and could not understand. If you have questions, feel free.

I would never argue that Wendy's workers should have a CEO lifestyle, of course. But to me, part of considering what constitutes fair taxation is the way money is received and what it affords the recipient. Also, one regressive item I forgot to mention is FICA. Far as I'm aware, we all pay the same for that, and it's effing massive. Especially for anyone who isn't a regular employee.

Strawman bullshit delivered with unmerited condescension is a particular "style" on full display daily with the daily rage tweet of your Dear Leader.

If you read further down in the article, is says that the Justice Department denies that it has to do with the Khasoggi case.

I don't see how it's possible to turn Gulen over, since he was probably working for the CIA and Erdogan know's it. It seems Washington is pacifying Erdogan so Turkey won't leave Nato. I read Gulen's well guarded in his Pennsylvania fortress, and he's going to need it because his death could solve Washington's problem - or maybe not. Washington will still be suspect in Erdogan's eyes.

More than likely they'll ship him to a 3rd country, and then he'll have an unforeseen accident. They can have the MI6 do it, they're good at those things - especially car accidents, plane accidents and poisons.

No names are mentioned, so it shouldn't be taken for fact. This is what the article stated further down where it wouldn't be noticed by most readers:

The Justice Department did not initially respond to a request for comment. But after the story was published Thursday, a spokesperson said the Justice Department continues to work with Turkey on Gulen's case, would review any materials Ankara provides and "make any decisions about extradition on the basis of the facts and relevant U.S. law."

On Friday, the spokesperson added: "The Justice Department has not been involved in nor aware of any discussions relating the extradition of Fethullah Gulen to the death of Jamal Khashoggi."

Obama did a fabulous job getting us out of the ditch that the GOP put us in. It took Clinton to dig us out of 12 years of madness, and it took Obama 8 years to take a destroyed economy to a dow that was steadily rising. Your partisanship is blinding you to the accomplishments of Clinton and Obama.

Obama slashed taxes for the poorest, and that doesn't help the economy. Slashing taxes for the wealthy does, since they will reinvest the money. It helped Bush after the attack on 911 when we could have fallen into a serious depression.

Obama forced the Democrats in Congress to extend the Bush-era tax cuts, saying they were "a substantial victory for middle-class families across the country" and "a package of tax relief that will protect the middle class, that will grow our economy and will create jobs for the American people".

Not that it will happen. But if Trump get impeached and removed from office, Pence will be nothing but a lame duck. The GOP didn't want him in the first place.

Slashing taxes for the middle class feeds an economy. You are still preaching trickle down economics? It has NEVER worked. EVER. Wake up.

It's the guy that "almost" won the 2018 TX senate election, in the same way Trump "almost" won the the aggregate national vote total.

Indeed. You should question the person who posted it.

He believes that Beto's "almost" victory (read: 2.8% margin of defeat) means he has a shot in the 2020 election.
