Would you leave them leaning against the wall permanently, or would you just raise them as needed? Think!

How many? A tunnel at an isolated are could operate for years.

Or the tunnel might be discovered and closed the first day

But why dig a tunnel when its so easy (according to the open border libs) to go over or around?

    That's a big "might".

Over, under or around. Many ways to defeat the purpose of the wall.

Why didnt the drug smugglers and shoeless migrants take the easy approach instead of the most difficult one?

Defense from what? All those hungry for work in the jobs Americans won't do? Dangerous critters, those looking for work.

80% to 90% of the illegals are single males ages 16-30. And I’m sure 90% of them are decent, hard-working people. Some of them are not decent, hard-working people.

But whether they’re good or bad, I want them to respect our laws and not break into our house illegally.

Your first 2 sentences could describe any group, including US citizens. You describe humanity in general.

I too want our laws to be respected, especially the Supreme Law of the Land, the US Constitution. Our elected officials do not respect that law. Are you and I in the same club that way?

To say a wall will do nothing is a lie. What does nothing is no wall. Build a wall, use drones and sensors. Problem solved. When tunnels are found they are filled with concrete. That makes an underground wall so not many tunnels will be dug in the same place. Pretty soon you have an underground wall.

The arguments against a wall are stupid. Walls work. Anyone who lives in a house or apartment or any other building uses walls.

Maybe so, but many of them don't. Shoulda, coulda, woulda does not describe reality. For many decades Latinos and other immigrants do the jobs that americans will not do.

Find tunnel. Call roustabouts. Blow it up. Bring in the 18-yarders and fill the easy way -- from the top at least cost method.

Better yet, fill with non-toxic landfill material. Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Nice thought, but I don't think we can fill south of the border.

The wall they dug under was not a Trump Wall and had a shallow footing allowing even uneducated wannabe undocumented Democrats to dig under.

That isn't what the local authorities show in their data.

But why would they walk 50 miles to avoid a barrier that is so easily defeated with a ladder & climbing ropes? And why did crime rates plummet in Yuma? If they simply walked around it, crime rates should not have changed.

Prior to that wall, Yuma arrested 800 illegals every day. I'd say one incident of 376 vs 800/day indicates the wall is perhaps the most effective tool possible. A mine field and snipers might work better, but probably not. See the link in my previous post.

For them a tunnel is the easy/safe approach. Carrying large amounts of drugs on the ground comes with the risk of being seen and apprehended, but the risk is minimized when you go underground.

And yet many people much smarter than you insist on having walls around their property dating to antiquity. Castles have walls. The Vatican has massive walls. (So much for walls being immoral! LOL.) The Berlin Wall was highly effective in preventing the population of East Germany from flooding into West Berlin. The White House is kept secure in part because of a tall fence. If the left gains control over the government do you suppose they will pledge to tear down the White House fence and destroy all the fences and walls surrounding government buildings and along the Southern border because they are ineffective, wasteful, immoral, and divide people? How about those surrounding military bases? Would you recommend that? Just protect the White House using a drone with a camera. That would be much more effective than a fence.

Maybe walls and fences should be illegal. Idiots like Zuckerberg, Soros, Pelosi, and Clinton would not be tempted to waste money on ugly walls then. A law like that would protect rich people from their stupidity. They could buy drones and robotic dogs instead. That might put a few illegal aliens out of work building walls but what the hell? It is kind of like malpractice to hop over a 30' wall with your Home Depot ladder and then get paid to build walls for rich gringos on the other side. Shouldn't they be warning customers that the wall they ordered won't work? It is funny but it seems nearly everyone opposed to Trump's wall both lives behind a wall, and voted for 10X the funding he has asked for currently. I guess they were immoral until quite recently. Maybe God friended them. But why is Heaven guarded by pearly gates? Is God stupider than Pro_Line? Sinners can just dig a tunnel!

If walls don't work why are all these dummies putting them around prisons? Just think of all the money we would save if Democrats ran the prison systems.
