One needs a high point to jump off from to glide across the border.

I'm thinking the only high point would be the Trump Wall.

One would have to scale the Trump Wall with a hand-glider then launch himself from the wall and hope it isn't dove season.

Kinda helps if there's a wind and no trees around or high walls.

Who ever said it would be impossible? You seem to be wholly ignorant of incentives and deterrents. It is not impossible to break into a bank vault. But fewer people do it than if deposits were stored in a bird cage.

Since the tunnel was discovered and destroyed it is not a conduit for drugs anymore

One tunnel was found, and it was the 3rd one this month in a very small section. It can only mean there are MANY tunnels going under the wall.

I think we can find tunnes faster that the ms-13 butchers can dig them

Which raises the cost of doing business for the criminals

And though you deny it the existance of the tunnels proves the positive affect of the wall

MS13 isn't digging anything, the cartels are, and they have deep pockets. Apparently El Chapo alone had $16 billion in assets.

I think ms-13 is involved in the drug trade

But whatever pack of wolves they are part of the wall is a problem for them

How many Mexicans does it take to hold a ladder steady?

Maybe one, or maybe none. Ladders and rope will be best selling items at MX border towns, but I doubt anyone will buy a hang-gliders.

I think MS13 specializes more in the local distribution side of the "business". We will have to disagree about the wall. Vast majority of drugs are brought in via ports of entry, so even a 100 ft wall would not make a difference.

We only know that most drugs that are discovered are at ports of entry

But if a human mule carries them across an unguarded border that wont show up in the stats

Wrong answer. It takes 4 to hold the ladder so that one can climb to the top. And then it takes four more to slide the ladder down the other side without it falling over. You don't really think they jump, do you?
At border towns, sure. But Mexico is a large country. A ladder can only be used at the border but you can launch a hang glider from miles and miles away.

How do you know how much is carried in undetected? Besides, the steel slats won't stop it when you can simply pass the drugs through the gaps.

No, it does not take 4 people to hold a ladder. What are you talking about? I would not jump, I'd use a rope.

It takes AT LEAST 4 people.

I can tell you've never climbed a rope.

I dont know and neither do you

The best you can say is that most illegal drug apprehensions occure at legal ports of entry because those places are guarded

But the Arizona border is largely unguarded

When I use a ladder, I don't need anyone to hold it for me, and yes, I have used ropes. It is actually quite easy to use a rope to decend.

Not really Mac. Remember Barry Seal? Remember Gary Webb? Remember Nugan-Hand Bank in Australia?

An old Army friend of mine went to work for Air America back in 1970. The CIA is in the dope business, always has been and always will be. Iran-Contra really happened.

Yes, Iran-Contra did happen, but it does not mean it is happening today.

Why would the CIA quit smuggling when it is so easy for them?

Perhaps it is simply rogue agents doing, but I suspect it's more than that.

Because they got caught, and it became a scandal.

Really? How many CIA men were prosecuted and sent to prison for their crimes? Why did the agency release its acknowledgment that Gary Webb's reporting had been accurate on the same Friday that the Lewinsky scandal broke?

You come across as quite naïve as to the ways of the world.
