    Only what is factually correct.

Four people needed to hold a ladder.......come on man.

Without a wall, no ladders, ropes, shovels, etc are necessary. A pair of Zapatos is sufficient. Since people in the latest caravan don't have $7 for a 150 mile bus ride (out of a 3000 mile trek) I'm not sure they are going to be going to Home Depot Tijuana shopping for 30' ladders and coils of rope when they arrive.

    Now wait right there.

Democrats have been telling us drugs come through the port of entry......

Obviously we need a deeper wall.

Easy, everyone throws in $1.00, and you could buy lots of ladders and rope.

Yes, vast majority of drugs come through ports of entry, and it is not Dems who are saying it, but the DEA, and other agencies working at the ports of entry.

Some drugs come though the tunnels directly to the cities on the other side of the border.

Definately. At least 50 feet deep. Maybe more. And higher too, several hundred feet so people can't throw other people over it. And missile systems to deter aircraft. $5billion is not enough.

Drugs and illegal immigrants come through the tunnels as stated in the link.

The drug smuggling stats and estimates come from DEA and other agencies involved in the matter. Republicans and Democrats receive the same information, so there is no disagreements about it. Have you heard of disagreements? I have not. Does Donald Trump have better sources?

Sorry, I thought everyone knew these things.....

LOL. They could also buy enough dynamite to rob a bank vault. Easy peasy.

There is more to Tijuana than Home Depot.

According to common sense any obstacle which can easily be breached does not work. If you can go over it, around it, or under it, it failed in its ONLY purpose which was to prevent entry.

Ok, well if everyone pitched in $1.00 they can use the money to buy anything they want.

A wall itself is never enough

    A wall defends the defenders

Who in turn must defend the wall that defends them

The fact that shoeless mexican illiterates were forced to dig a tunnel proves the wall is doing its job

Any ladder used to scale a 30 foot wall would need to be 40 feet tall. Yahoos lugging around a 40 foot ladder might be easy to spot, eh.
Anyone with common sense would know digging a tunnel is not easy.

Correct. It is easier to use ladders which are already there, or use tunnels which are already there. No point in everyone bringing their own ladder, or dig their own tunnel.

If the goal is only to make it a bit more difficult, then let's NOT waste the money.

This is what many Texans are saying. It's much cheaper to shoot the intruders on site rather than waste millions keeping them out especially if they get through and we have to spend even more sending them home.

I take it by your comment you think we should just take the easy way to defend our country?

Do you seriously think the BP will just leave a ladder leaning on the wall? Yeah, and how many people do you think are going to be able to go through a tunnel before someone notices?

Any way you look at it walls work. No one can just walk across.

If there's a wall, they have to dig a tunnel as opposed to just walking across the border.

A wall seems to be a good first line of defense.

Reports yesterday said most did not have a dollar. So the Tijuana Ferrari dealer is unlikely to make a sale from the entire caravan.

It would be cheaper to just let them in with free healthcare and welfare?

Yuma built a wall and reported a 97% drop in illegal border crossings. Apparently ladders & ropes aren't quite as easy as Adidas.
