The term liberal does not fit any Democrats. Nor did it fit the base of the neocons. I will suggest you study this one book to understand neocons. Cheney never has been one. Bolton either.

They are more fleeing the communists. Sure the path they took was to Democrats. But Cheney and Bolton both are regular republicans.

 

There are structural differences in government and private.

Oh gosh, there are so many proofs. But leave it there for now.

What he did to this nation was force them to buy insurance. That is wrong. It should never be a commandment by government to the people. IT then proves we are run by government and not that government is run by we the people.

To make it clear, a short story.

I served on a Major real estate board. We were among the largest in America. I was a director.

I listened to our CEO tell we Directors the board would treat our customers well.

I corrected him and told him we needed a new change in attitude.

What he says to me?

Yes, we must operate with the premise the members we were representing were the owners, not customers. It took a bit of time for me to hammer that home but it changed how the board was run.

Obama had no business lashing out at us and giving us orders to buy insurance policies.

Even at that, based on endless reports, this nations ecucation system is a major failure.

It is pathetic to listen to our citizens and compare them to citizens in other lands. But it is not new. This is a long term problem.

As to who pays for education? The most basic taxes in CA. Taxes on land and buildings. It finally was converted to incomes but the idea we set up first was land and buildings paid for the schools.

 

Same care?

 

Not that there's any better system you could name, but education is a poor example of government success. Public schools are an unmitigated failure while private schools do very well by their students, at a fraction of the cost. But tell public schools that and they cry that they need "more money!" In fact, in any field of endeavor you'd like to point to, government run anything is worse than the privately run system done next to it. I've pointed this out before, but down in Miami, there are three hospitals in a three block radius, two private and one VA. The VA hospital is rundown, poorly staffed, poorly equipped, and does a lousy job by its patients. The other two are clean, well-lit, well-staffed (they have to speak THREE languages in Miami these days, English, Spanish, and Haitian Kreol), and do very well by their patients. This pattern is repeated throughout society. In my town, the DMV and a pizza joint are located next door to each other. It can take 30 minutes to get waited on in the DMV. How long would the pizza joint last if it took them 30 minutes to take your order? America has become a great vacuum of medical talent from around the world because pharmaceutical companies, doctors, medical laboratories, etc., can come here and get rich off of their inventions, discoveries, and medical breakthroughs. They can't do that anywhere the government controls the medical field. This is the goose you want to kill to get its golden eggs. Medical innovations by country, 2013:

Indeed there are structural differences between Gov't and private. No need to prove anything.

 

Why would it be different - you are going to the same hospital - the only difference is who pays the bill.

No healthcare for the poor and middle class. The poor dying improves the genetic mix.
Encourage babies and then starve them and don't educate them unless they are born to the rich.

One could accurately say the term progressive doesn't fit any Democrats.

Liberal, conservative, progressive are labels that people hide behind.

If I'm asked to name one true conservative Pat Buchanan comes to mind not Reagan.

During America's progressive era that was rejected by most Americans, progressives claimed they would use science to fix the ills of society.

Progressives were found in both the Democratic and Republican party's.

They all had something in common, all were nationalist, many were socialist and some were racist using Oxfords and Websters original definition of racist.

Both Woodward Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt were progressives.

When the radical left and the leaders of the counterculture movement in America began infiltrating the Democratic party during the 1970's they renamed themselves as the "New Left" and these radicals leftist hid behind the liberal label. Eventually they started hiding behind the progressive label. None of them are true liberals or progressives. But it was the radical left (New Left) who dirtied the liberal and progressive labels.

Neocons are not true conservatives. They began in the Democratic party, liberal Jews who were extremely patriotic and anti communist who wanted to stop communist expansion in the world. They fled from the Democratic party and were allowed and welcomed into the GOP because the Republicans needed the neocons to help win the Cold War.

Reagan, the GOP along with the neocons won the Cold War.

The necons no longer had a purpose after the Cold war. So neoconservatism had to remake itself with a new global political agenda.

Dick Cheney, Wolfowitz, McCain aren't true neoconservatives but their warmongering got them labeled as neocons.
