Pelosi does not care at all about border crossings. Matter of fact, more proof is the governor of NM just took office and she removes NM troops from their border. This is a good signal to illegals where they can easily cross.

Indeed, Government would turn Churches into buildings of hell. I bring that up to show it would do it to health care too. If you never have been in a Government hospital, you need to go visit them.

    Imagine one designed for convicts.

Sure she does. It is inane to suggest that Pelosi is in favor of unlimited illegal immigration.

I do not see how the fusion of Church and State and the horrors that produced relates to healthcare.

Not that the first world nations who have universal healthcare are not horrific, inefficient bureaucratic nightmares. These systems are just a whole lot better than the private for profit nightmare we have currently. The lesser of two evils.

The original neoconservatives were liberals and the liberal base of the Democratic party during the 1960's and early 70's.

John McCain was never a Democrat or a liberal but would become a neocon RINO with in the GOP.

John Bolton is currently a neocon.

    Re: Dick Cheney:
Cheney was a good Secretary of Defense under Bush (41) but he canceled the Navy/Marine Corps replacement for the A-6 intruder the A-12 Avenger. With no replacement for the A-6 Intruder U.S. Navy aircraft carrier air wings today aren't capable of conducting deep strike combat missions.

Liberal neoconservatives began fleeing from the Democratic party during the 1970's when the radical left (New Left) hijacked the Democratic party.
The "New Left" were just useful idiots of the Kremlin during the last twenty or so years of the Cold War.
Today the older members of the "New Left" are the ruling members of the Democratic party like Nancy Pelosi.
Just a bunch of burned out hippies from the 60's like Bernie.

The newer and younger members of the Democratic party today are even more radical than the "New Left"...socialist like Comrade Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The plan that the Democrats are touting is the one based on Bernie's bill. That bill is the basis of the study that gave a 32 Trillion dollar cost over 10 years. That plan made private insurance illegal, therefore, no private healthcare. So unless there is another secret plan out there, it's fair to judge their comments based on Bernie's plan.

    The Democratic platform is...

    Russia Russia Russia

    MS-13 aren't so bad.

Illegal aliens and having open borders are more important than federal workers and Americans on food stamps.

    If it moves, tax it.
If it doesn't move, tax it.
If you can't pick it up, tax it.
If it moves across the border and speaks Spanish, give it amnesty and free stuff.

Why should one have to fund both?
    No, it's realistic.

There are forms of universal healthcare in Europe where there is also a private allowed to operate. One is then paying for both.

You did not provide evidence of your "Private insurance illegal" - claim so I looked it up and it is = "mostly false"

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...roposal-would-outlaw-private-healthcare-plans

Universal healthcare at 32 Trillion over 10 years is a bargain. I figure we could do it much cheaper that that however. That figure assumes we do not deal with rampant price fixing and other anti-competitive and Oligopolistic practices that increase the cost of healthcare.

Regardless 32 Trillion over 10 years works out to something like 2.9 Trillion in the first year, 3.2 Trillion in years 5-6, and 3.6 Trillion in the 10th year.

In 2017 we spent 3.5 Trillion on healthcare which would mean an average of 3.8 Trillion over 10 years = 38 Trillion.

Agree that the Dems need to lose Russiagate - already responded to another poster in relation to the MS-13 nonsense and it is nonsense to suggest that the Dems want open borders.

Taxes ? Lowing taxes while increasing the deficit in a rising interest rate environment in a stable economy is the pinnacle of fiscal irresponsibility. Full Stop The Reagan fiscal nightmare revisited.

Yup - but why would you if you are getting the same care from the same Hospital ? You are just paying the money to the Gov't instead of the private insurer.
