US education system sucks and indoctrinate students to the point they can’t help themselves but turn Liberals. Sadly, not all recover from Liberalism with age.

Only the ones with economic access to North Sea Oil. In other words, socialism works ONLY as long as there is a permanent outside source of income. No outside source no permanent socialism. Oh and it also doesn't work if said nation actually maintains a meaningful standing army -- not just a 'for show' military.

I don’t feel like educating you. Sufficed to say, socialism is a killer of freedom, initiative and entrepreneurship.

And no, Nordic countries do not have socialism; at best, they could be called compassionate capitalism. They were wealthy and economically successful before they started experimenting with socialism and created welfare states. In reality the Nordic countries practice mostly free market economics paired with high taxes exchanged for generous government entitlement programs.

And I do know what I’m taking about; I also know it is useless to argue with Liberal.

 

And U.S. capitalism only worked prior to fracking due to theft of outside oil owned by other countries, like Iraq. Now U.S. capitalism has its sights set on Venezuelan oil. So what's your point again?

 

Yes. There are only two reasons people will work, to better themselves or if compelled to do so. With Socialism removing the first incentive by equalizing outcome, Socialist governments are left with only coercion.

But most rank and file socialists are wholly ignorant of this. Socialism sounds good to them as an easier, non-competitive path to a comfortable life, not realizing that the “easy” socialist life is one of coercion, starvation and rampant disease.

The political leaders who seek to establish and maintain socialist states are motivated by greed and a lust for power. The socialist kleptocracy grows richer while the masses grow ever poorer. Some use their position to horde money others, like Stalin, Mao, Hitler and Pol Pot used socialist control to free their sadistic impulses.
