I picked up some Glock 21 mags, and some new standard capacity/extended capacity mags. Do you need to switch to higher powered mag springs when using them with the .450 with its increased slide velocity? How have your mag springs held up in the 45c? Do you load to full capacity? Reason I ask is the stock USP 12 round mags have some reputation for being under powered, and 2 mags I picked up came with a +5 extension, but they still use the stock spring. I am looking for full reliability, which has been the case over 2000 rounds since November.
Prison costs resulting from our alleged wars on crime, drugs, and terror should be billed to right wing general warfare-State spending not left wing general welfare-State spending.
Full reliability can be measured by putting a gun through it’s paces with the ammo, mags and configuration you are going carry ... in my case, with enough rounds that I feel confident... and I am familiar enough with my gun to handle any failures (jams, FTEs, FTFs, etc.) should one happen. For any semi auto, there is a balance that must be achieved between the slide/bolt, recoil mechanism, and mag springs. With some semi’s, like Glocks and 1911’s, shooting hot rounds or .45 super/SMC can throw that balance off a bit, requiring playing with that factors affecting that balance. Then too, sending a steady diet of those type of rounds down range can beat your frame up and weaken other parts. To mitigate that I recommend upping the poundage of your recoil spring which may require other adjustments, and finding a balance that will work with .45 acps or switching the recoil spring when switching ammo. In my HK, OTB it was fine with SMCs, though I have replaced the recoil buffer once. As for mag springs, get the best you can afford...a hot spring is never a bad thing. Wolf has a good selection. Around town I carry my HK with .45 acp. On the trail, full mags .450 SMC. My HK has been the most reliable .45 I have ever owned with every mix of ammo I have put through it. I have worked on a lot of guns, but, except for swapping in a couple ambi safeties, I have never had one brought to me for repair...hmmm... either no one uses them or... As for shooting .45 SMC with it over .45 acp, I can tell the difference in recoil, but for me it’s easy to manage, even with double taps. But then I have done a lot of shooting with big bore pistols... though there are a couple I don’t enjoy. I generally don’t carry extended mags. The exception is I sometimes carry my G26 with G19 mags with the one in gun sporting an XGrip and two spares without. Just an aside, my G26 is far more accurate with it’s factory barrel than my G17 with it’s after market barrel... just lucky, I guess.
we lose around a corps of unorganized militia a year due to gun related violence. Well regulated militia are expressly declared necessary to the security of our free States.
The majority of firearm-related deaths are matters of suicide, and will not be counted or discussed. The majority of the remaining amount are committed by criminal individuals, against other criminal individuals, none of whom could legally take part in a militia due to disqualifying criminal records.
Sorry, not an coherent answer. Just blathering phrases as if they have meaning to some point, like all crows are black. Again in regard to your blathering, so?
What gossip? Explain that. Be happy to debate you if you have something coherent to debate. Make a point other than tossing out phrases that are meaningless without context. And, yes, you are playing a game, one no body follows as anything but nonsense considering you have over 41,000 posts and 359 like ( a record low ratio?).
Just as the number of lives lost in the united states each year is completely irrelevant to the second amendment.
You don't understand any of the concepts but blame moi for being a game player? Only those of the opposing view have to resort to fallacy. You need valid arguments or ask questions. ad hominems and diversions are only fallacy. and, i resort to the fewest fallacies and we have a McCarthy era phrase in our pledge.
Then remove the problematic politicians who are responsible for such in order to address the problem.
