If he committed bank fraud he would have been prosecuted.

As for lying on a financial disclosures, that's something he cannot do, as they must be prepared by a Certified Public Account or in Trumps case a law firm that has CPA's on staff, people who while retained by Trump are not under his control.

It's not his job, it is all public record and open for anyone, even Congress to examine.

Not if he wasn’t caught. What sort of logic is that? Lol
Then he can explain why his property went up in value by 290 million, then down by 250 million.

I want to see Pelosi's returns, did she really go from basically broke to becoming a multi millionaire on a Congressional salary?

Heck if I could pull off whatever she has I would be a billionaire by now, but not being a Congressman the reality is if I pulled off whatever she has I would probably by in prison.

No I am addressing what you already brought up and keep harping on.

He suing to block a blatant unconstitutional overreach by Congress to dig into the private financial matters of a U.S. citizen and for that you should be applauding him.

You or one of yourscould be next

Lieu and Schiff may have helped Ed Buck commit two murders.

We should investigate them just in case.

It's is not Congresses duty nor job to go off searching for crimes or investigating for crimes by their political opponents. If they find evidence of a crime in the course of their legislative oversight they can make a referral, then the DOJ and FBI investigate. That is why we have a DOJ and FBI.

And watch out for what you wish for else if a Democrat wins the White House in 2020 but the Republicans when back the House or even just retain the Senate are you prepared for them to immediately start subpoenaing all the records of the Democrat President and engaging in endless "investigations" just to see what they can find? Appointing a special counsel to subponea all their campaign records and communications and call all those people before congress under oath? That's what you want?

He doesn't give all that up which is why he is NOT required to disclose his private citizen tax returns.

Yeah ... well I did start to reply by pecking out C O H E N. But opted for the meme 'cause you're perfectly capable of embarrassing yourself ... and ... you did. Cohen's docs SO reliable that (D)'s rejected Cohen's offer to look at 14 million more "smoking guns" he just remembered burying for Trump. lol

Since the president can’t be indicted referring crimes to the DOJ would be stupid, only congress can take up that action.

No but he is required to file financial disclosures, which contradict evidence provided to congress. Did he lie to the bank or to the American people?

I'm sure you're aware that they are looking at more than just tax returns. But yes - the IRS would be perfectly capable of reviewing his forms on their own.

If he provided fraudulent docs to congress then trump should be eager to clear his name and see Cohen spend more time in prison.
Just pretend theyre investigating Cohen to see if he lied to congress again.

    As I suspected.

You should read your own source before making ridiculous claims.

Cohen's illegal actions, constant perjuring of himself under oath, and desire to save his own ass aside....

First of all, I see you don't understand how property value assessments work. Do you own a house? If you did, you'd probably know how this works.

From your source: Property bought for $7.5 million, then valued at $291 million / Inflated valuations went to insurance firms, Cohen testified

Would you like me to explain to you how it's possible to buy something for much less than it's really worth?

Secondly, it doesn't matter what Trump submitted as the value of the property to the insurance company.

You see, insurance assessors physically come out and determine the value of a property themselves. They know better than to take someone's claim that the property is worth "eleventy-billion dollars" without checking it out themselves.

So it doesn't matter what Trump said the property was worth.

Additionally, here's the other ridiculous thing that only someone who reads a headline wouldn't have the intelligence to note:

“We would provide them with these copies so that they would understand that the premium, which is based sometimes upon the individual’s capabilities to pay, would be reduced,” Cohen told lawmakers. Asked if that was done at Trump’s direction and with his knowledge, Cohen said, “Yes,” adding that he believed the numbers had been inflated.

A HIGHER PROPERTY VALUE FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES WOULD INCREASE THE COST OF THE INSURANCE PREMIUMS, NOT DECREASE IT.

The answer to your other claim is in the document itself:

In the documents introduced by Cohen, Trump’s wealth numbers were strikingly elastic. In 2012, Trump had $5 billion of assets, according to that year’s one-page summary. Just nine months later, an updated summary showed his assets had nearly doubled, to $9.17 billion. The difference? Brand value. Trump put his at $4 billion.

Take this piece of garbage and get out of here with this nonsense.
