This is a typical evasive psychological measure often used that I always find interesting. I'm sure there's a name for it. Kind of like complaining about a family member always leaving the bathroom a mess when it's really about them wanting the room to themselves. Unlike most others, I search for the very root of problems rather than just skim the top bc only then can true solutions be found.

In this situation, which has actually become cliche with everyone blaming Trump or the US constantly for everything, it's really about liberal progressives pushing communism. To be successful, they must strip patriotism completely bc it represents freedom which they abhor. They want people completely under their rule, divided, and totally dependent on big government. Independence is krytonite to them.

So hearing everyone on the news saying everyday it's just bc they hate Trump for Twittering is annoying. They hate Trump alright but it's not bc of what he says. It's because he keeps stopping or reversing their agenda of turning this country into a communist regime which they were well on their way of accomplishing until he through a huge monkey wrench in their plans when he was elected.

CNN reports that if the governor of Arizona does not want Nike to open a factory in his state that there are Democratic governors eager to get the deal. Also the Arizona town where the Nike plant was to be built do not agree with their governor.

We shouldn't let them, but it happens. Evil groups throughout history have coopted harmless symbols which are now forever assosciated with those groups. Why would an old US flag be any different?

I doubt that Betsy Ross was a slave owner but generally all the Blacks in America at that time were slaves forced to work for nothing/ whipped and tortured. Nike was right to pull the flag off its product. I don't think the company suffered after Colin joined them. Keep in mind that the headquarters for Nike is in Portland Oregon. This is a non-issue for much of the country.

The ONLY reason the flag had suddenly overnight become an alleged symbol of racism is because a dumb athlete texted some executives at Nike and present his false narrative and the cowed to him. If we are going to adopt the standard that if some unnoteworthy racist displays it the entire country must give it then we need an entirely new flag and will probably had to create a new one every month so.
