    So??

How is this a rational reason to deport somebody who's been here all their life?

Perhaps it was an Obama appointed judge with a liberal bent and a Hispanic name?

He didn't say that. He said nothing indicating he knew anything about who had appointed this judge and what his politics were, He made a great show of pointing out his name was CURIEL though. This was not just a one off thing, it was repeated and sustained.

Trump is an old line wool-dyed BIGOT and I really don't see how anybody can defend him on that count.

tRUMP could easily do that. It was major news his golf courses knowingly hired illegals.
The illegals were only fired not deported and the ppl he employed who hired them never were fired. tRUMP own companies. Nothing done. And no one cares.
Its why this immigration story is complete BS.
    No ONE in politics cares.

And unlawful arrests (siezures) are also specifically forbidden by the 4th.

LOL, yes, but an arrest of an illegal alien with a final order of deportation is not unlawful.

What would it take to satisfy you that an illegal can be forcibly removed?

All you guys in this thread need to understand that the constitution prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures. It doesnt prohibit all searches and seizures, and not all searches and seizures require a warrant. If you are seen in the act of driving drunk, or entering the USA illegally, the officer doesn't have to go get a warrant to arrest you. That would be a stupid requirement.

If an alien crashes the gate or sneaks across, and then blows off his court date, or attends the date and loses, and then loses his appeals, his arrest is not unreasonable, whether there is a warrant or not.

As for conducting a search to find him, this also is not unreasonable to begin with, but a "search" is understood in constitutional law to mean one that produces evidence. Looking for the body of an illegal alien itself is not a "search", legally speaking, because the alien's body is not evidence. This is why you don't have a right to be free from a warrantless interrogation that includes the question "what's your name?"

Because that isn't his history and there will be more to the story of this official than a Hispanic name. It's less about defending him against ridiculous charges than simply not taking those charges seriously. I am not their target audience.

The citizenship question, the telegraphing of ICE raids. All are part of the conversation forcing opposition to come out defending breaking US law.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
They had probable cause and they have an order of removal which is the same as a warrant signed by a judge.

As a former cop this is how it often went.
Knock on the door, "I'm looking for xxxxx is he/she here?"
    Answer was always no.
"Can I come in and check for myself?"
    Again the answer was no.
Then I would leave and walk just out of sight. You would be amazed how many times when I quickly turned back xxxx was looking out of the window to see if I had gone. Now, because I was able to positively identify xxxx I could enter the house without a warrant to arrest him/her. :clapping:

Roy Moore wanted to abolish all amendments past the Bill of Rights, which would include the 13th, of course. Trump and the RNC endorsed him.

Legal experts say that immigrants have legal recourse when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers knock at the front door. Federal agents are required by law to have judicial search warrants - not just administrative orders from ICE - to gain lawful entry and consent from immigrants.

That was in 2016. I've not heard anything further justifying what Trump said then than that.

Have you forgotten the famous incident where Trump wanted the jogger rapists to be given harsher sentences even after DNA evidence and a confession cleared them? and what about the discrimination suits at his properties. Then there's several years as the Birther King.

Face it, Dirty Don is a 1960's Southern Sheriff and I don't mean Carroll O'Connor, (though as Archie Bunker maybe, though Archie was nicer, and better informed.)

What percentage of coops did you know that would lie so they could search or enter a house without a warrant?

A judicial warrant would allow unauthorized entry into the home. An order of removal does not. They are not the same.
