Have to laugh at Democrats telling illegals that police can't enter their homes without a warrant. Illegals sneak across without a Visa but God forbid a Democrat support border patrol enforcing that rule.
As you say, I guess, but i have been reliably informed that the immigration laws once were mainly enforced to weed out known criminals and grifter sorts. If you don't you end up trying to incarcerate an entire demographic which effort has become the backbone of the Trump "Administration"

Go cook your sources. The guy who told me that was a cop in the area, not ICE, just local police. He told me the ICE were cordially hated for their tendency to harvest low hanging fruit, arresting guys who were doing nothing and leaving anyone who might really be a problem strictly alone. He said one especially endearing practice of theirs was to periodically go through their files and arrest all their informants
And righties are all over the law, like the ignored subpoenas for the AG and just about every other high Trumper appointee that exists

But seriously folks, Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution requires the President to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” This clause, known as the Take Care Clause, requires the President to enforce all constitutionally valid Acts of Congress, regardless of his own Administration's view of their wisdom or policy. Now, which federal laws, Alexander, would you have the President not enforce (in violation of his sworn duty) other than 8 USC 1325?
