There is a lot of money to be made by those in the racialist industry. A great example of this are our public universities. The cost of a college education has been hugely inflated to pay for all the racialist administrators.

Actually Howard Cosell was not fired for any of the four, yes four, monkey references he made during his broadcast career. Two of the four comments were made about white ball players, two were black. Three were football players, one played baseball.

I don't believe the Earth is flat, I also don't believe humans evolved from apes.

Black privilege give me a list of what that brings, for the simple fact I haven't seen any.

I ask the same questions of Trump Hu...…..supporters.

Those folks today are black republican/conservatives.

    ]

They were mainstreamed into white America.

So you are telling me that the plight of Italians and Irish in America is equal to black folks, come on Steve you are probably a little smarter than that.

They rec'd reparations and tell me if a Jewish boy or girl could take home a German and tell their parents they want to marry them.

I am pretty sure black folks have done more than enough in this country to earn respect.

Well let's not play that game when it comes to who has been discriminated against, because I would probably crash the forum posting discrimination that black folks have endured in this country.

I am in my 60s and how old are you? You talk like you might be in your 30s. I am here to tell you slavery is not the only injustice that black folks have endured in this country and yes the effects of slavery still affect us today or the injustices of it.

And there was nothing racist about his comments. Only those who make money from the racialist narrative manufacture racism from non racial comments.

The Justice System in this country today is definitely systemic racism.

That’s BS. When crime rates are factored in there are no disparities.

For starters, it gives you access to jobs and college admissions where more qualified whites might be skipped over to make room for you, thanks to Affirmative Action.

    I figured. Welcome to 2019 :)

I am 41. I suppose that I was fortunate to have grown up post-Civil-Rights-movement, where racism was really a non-issue, and a gorilla was a gorilla and not a dog whistle. I'm sorry that you weren't equally fortunate, but it is 2019 and the chip on your shoulder should have worn down by now.

Do you think it is only people in their 30's and younger who are post racial?

I see that in attempting to approach this issue with logic, as in using A.I. to predict crimes and so forth, the information coded into the algorithms, and even machine learning, have led to even higher systemic racism. People who live in stereotypes and biases are providing the data that makes the justice system even more racial. Those prejudices are so deeply embedded in us, that we don't see the flaws.

That's more BS, crime rates are factored in and those disparities have been going on since this country was founded.

Who benefits most from AA? WHITE WOMEN.

    Wow.

You mean you were fortunate enough to have grown up and not be on the receiving end of racism. When it doesn't affect you I guess it is a non issue.

I think the younger generation is for the most part is moving past America racist past, they are the reason that Pres. Obama was elected twice. Unfortunately there are still too many of the old guard in positions of authority. This country has come along way, but I believe we still have a way to go.

That's because you are a part of the Old Guard and you want to believe the stereotypes that you have been taught.

More BS. To claim I am a racist because it is built into my education is ludicrous. What stereotypes are those ???

The one here who appears to be "believing the stereotypes [they] were taught" is you, @superbadbrutha

I'm glad you can at least admit that much, although I don't really think of 30's and 40's a "the younger generation", but we're younger than you are, so maybe from that perspective yes, we are "the younger generation".

The thing about older folks and racism is this ---- for every older person who still harbors feelings of racism, there is another older person with a chip on their shoulder, and BOTH are equally guilty of keeping racism alive.

That you are inferior, that all whites hate all blacks, that there are racists hiding behind every tree, and that "white people" are responsible for everything bad that has ever happened to you.

No one discriminated against blacks in new haven

    Just the opposite in fact

No one can change the past

but thats no excuse for reverse discrimination in the present

If you look deeper i bet you will find justice system bias is more economic than racial.
