A more-enlightened public that has seen the consequences of a referendum of yesteryear is, consequently, now far more knowledgeable of its consequences. Britain may need a second Brexit referendum, says former PM Cameron https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...-referendum-says-former-pm-cameron/ar-AAHgcL2 Knowledge is good!
Ridiculous. Your problem isn't that you need to be more racist, just be more sensible, that'll do it. "Count Draghila": A Furious Germany Reacts To Draghi's Monetary "Horror" "Count Draghila is sucking our accounts dry.... The horror for German savers goes on and on." Mario Draghi, one foot out of the ECB's Frankfurt HQ on his way to retirement, doubled down in what appeared to be the final push in European monetary policy, when the central banker cut interest rates deeper into negative territory and promised bond purchases with no end-date to push borrowing costs even lower. But an even bigger surprise was Draghi's veiled admission that the ECB is now out of ammo and that to boost the economy, Europe will need fiscal stimulus, i.e., issue more debt. Specifically, Draghi referred being “very concerned about the pension industry” and also suggested that the answer to speeding up positive side effects was fiscal policy. As Reid concluded, "it’s hard to therefore get away from feeling that even the ECB feel we’re nearing the end game in terms of the limits of monetary policy. Something that has been obvious to the outside world for sometime." Draghi is sucking dry the bank accounts of Germany’s savers with the ECB cutting interest rates deeper into negative territory. German savers now pay the bank, to hold their money.
Relevant? To the conversation yes, to the war maybe, to the present only in that govt's still lie to the people. I just thought it was interesting.
I would ask him what hostility, but RoT was banned for his. Why does the US find the EU hostile? What have they done economically that the US hasn't? I suspect it's just that the US doesn't like having to deal with a powerful trading block rather than being able to bully individual nations into deals more advantagious to America.
This is not going well. The longer Boris writhes and squirms, an ordeal that exacts an enormous toll on the UK, the more likely the people of the UK will be allowed a second chance, and not be hidebound by a decision uninformed by the subsequently-exposed complexities and exigencies. If they remain resolute, they shall have confirmed their enduring desire to leave the European Union enlightened by hindsight, a far greater comprehension of the inevitable ramifications than previously.
What about "core interest " did you not understand? Do you think so low about us to denie us to have own interests?
Titanic was crap. Her bulkheads were not high enough. She lacked basic design elements. No German Superliner would have that kind of event. Look at our Imperator. She was bigger, faster...and had a massive spotlight on her front mast too see objects infront. The propulsion of Titanic was laughable as well. Two Expansion engines for outside propeller and a Turbine for middle Propeller. The middle one can only run forwards...laughable.
Eastern Germany has 0.4% foreigners. Same counts for rest of eastern Europe. So your "blend of races" will be limited to western Europe. Culture is worthless. DNA matters.
The Titanic was fine and no ship in the world could have survived the collision, Titanic stayed afloat longer than any other ship in the world could have. The Imperator? Are you NUTS? In no particular order she; Ran aground during her sea trials Had a fire in her engine room which sent 8 crewmen to hospital Her turbines overheated She was so unstable they had to cancel her taking the Kaiser on her maiden voyage Listed so much when turning she was nicknamed the 'Listerator' Had to have a fire-fighting system installed because so many fire broke out aboard the ship Ran aground twice more and lost part of her rudder under Cunard And she only had her searchlight fitted AFTER the Titanic disaster. I'm sticking with Harland and Wolf!
H&W is bancrupt. Blohm&Voss still rule and operational. Evry german liner would have survived that crash. Btw Titanic and Olympic both listed, had not enough life boats, bad propulsion system, were slow and as Titanic showed...a death trap. You know why? Imperator would reverse thrust. 4 engines going full backward...while Titanic could not do that. Imperator also had a full double hull. So the impact would not breach the inner hull. Even the older Kaiser-Class like Kronprinzessin Cecilie would outmatch Titanic. You build crap ships, thats the problem. Well nowadays you dont build any ships at all...H&W is bancrupt
How do you explain having a trade agreement with Canada without free movement of people between Canada and the EU if free movement is a "core principle?" You asked this because I asked you to explain an apparent contradiction in your position?
I try again, since you appear to be slow in understanding. UK was a EU member. Canada was not. You want that the UK gets all the good stuff of the EU without the burdens bound with it. Tell me exactly why you want denie us our core interest and if we should dissolve ourself after Brexit since why have an EU when evrything is negotiable? You want negotiate us away? So why you have no respext for us?
The Titanic was a crappy design, engineering arrogance. On top of it built with crappy steel to save money, very brittle steal. It was not a good design and made of low quality material. That and the arrogance of the captain, caused it to sink.
So the closest major city in Europe is farther away the the anywhere else in the Continental US. So again, Europe is a far off place most Americans will never see. Maybe No. It's really that simple. There are two sides to an issue. Americans will figure out what side their side is supporting and support that side. Most Americans have no idea what's actually going on.
Yes, possibly because of the EU but come 31st October a brand new day? Double hull would not have mattered with the iceberg, Titanic actually exceeded the requisite number of lifeboats, the engines were fine and wouldn't have made any difference. I've listed everything wrong with the Imperator and you haven't answered my question?
No, no liner in the world could have survived that collision. How exactly was Captain Smith arrogant?
Titanic had a 2% list as well. A double hull would have prevented that massive flooding. And please...while Imperator could reverse thrust 100% Titanic could only reverse thrust by 2/3 of her system, since the forward propeller could not go Backwards.
