Is "The Lindsey Graham Defense" the best Trump loyalists can come up with?

The Lindsey Graham Defense could be formulated as:

"I will not read the evidence, therefore, Trump is innocent"

If that's what they are going to argue from now on, they have given up on Trump. The one thing Trump loyalists have yet to understand is that this is not about convincing them, anymore than it is about convincing us. It's about convincing the American People. And I mean those who don't follow the events so closely.

If anybody here was around during the Nixon impeachment years, they might remember how "Impeachment" flooded the airwaves. It was basically a 24/7 event on all channels. At least that's what it seemed to me when I was a kid.

You might not be seeing on HBO, but basically all on-the-air channels will be talking non-stop about this once the public testimony stage begins.

So if the Lindsey Graham Defense is going to be the only axiom with which you expect to defend the President, you are actually doing him a disservice.

Even the worst criminal deserves a better defense than that.

Really, Democrats better pray that this does not open up completely and expose: Eric Ciaramella, Alexandra Chalupa, Sean Misko, and Victoria Nuland.

Once these 3 are exposed, especially Alexandra Chalupa who belongs in prison for Treason, the Democratic Party is going to look like the Soviets.

It's a good think they sent Rudy Guiliani over there to get the information on Chalupa. This is going to be explosive. Adam Schiff is going to come off worse than Joseph McCarthy, especially with Eric Ciaramella consulting his good friend and Adam Schiff's staff member, Sean Misko prior to going to the IG/DoJ.

 

One can sum up Taylor's "damning" evidence in his last statement "I don't know". Same is true of the rest of these so called witness. None of them actually know much of anything.

He said he wouldn't read the transcripts of the closed hearings...those transcripts will become "evidence" of the quid pro quo the President was offering to the President of Ukraine for the appropriated military assistance in exchange for investigations into Biden and the 2016 election. "The Hill" was one source regarding the story...just google "Graham refuses to read transcripts."

Sure there was. A quid pro quo is literally "you do something for me and I'll do something for you." Trump's QPQ to the Ukrainian President was "you announce public investigations into Biden and his son's involvement in the Ukrainian energy company and an investigation into the Ukrainian involvement in our 2016 election and I'll release the aid to you and give you a meeting at the White House." That's basically the message being testified to in the closed depositions being taken of those involved. And, next week, you'll hear that testimony in public hearings.
