    also for more clarification these aid packages are governed by the foreign assistance act of 1961 and the arms export control act. I've looked at them but not in huge detail as its my day off and my kids keep telling me "dad watch this" lol. From what i was able to skim it seems that the President and Sec. of State have large leeway but they do normally have to report back to congress within a given time.

    Sounds like Yermak and Prystaiko need to have a little chin wag... Ukraine is likely no different that the US.... there are regular channels and irregular channels and there is no guarantee they talk to each other..

    P.S. Even if your snip had any real meaning, it wouldn't change Trump's version of the phone call, since that's not what Prystaiko is even talking about...

    Democrats talking today about USMCA is proof that they can still govern while the impeachment inquiry continues. And it will continue through tomorrow and next week because the ball, if anything, was advanced closer towards impeachment through yesterday's testimony.

    BTW, I still disagree with Nancy calling it bribery.... To me, it's more clearly extortion, but I'm probably splitting hairs... Bribery is in the Constitution as an impeachable offense, so that probably sells better...
