The House is run by the majority of its members. The House rules are passed by the majority of members at the beginning of each session, including rules respecting the power of the chairmen, the policy on subpoenas and impeachment. If you can get enough votes, you can ditch Pelosi, completely alter the rules by which committees do their work and how impeachment proceedings are conducted. These are pretty much the same ones that Speaker Ryan instituted in 2014 when RP political bosses were trying to railroad Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Bengazi except the rules on impeachment which were drafted under Gingrich and Speaker Livingston when they tried to railroad Bill Clinton

If you don't like the precedent that Ryan set on subpoena powers, you can take it up with him. If you don't like the way the House manages impeachments, you can discuss that with Gingrich and Livingston.

I suggest you revisit your President if you want to ditch Pelosi. Because Trump is the guy who lost majority control and brought her back.

 

House subpoenas can never be enforced against the Executive branch without judicial review. I can't imagine Trump wanting to replace Pelosi.

That is just an opinion not law. Impeachment is such a rate thing we do not have a completely settled process. The House voted to impeach the IMPOTUS and had has been impeached. That is sort of like an indictment in a Crminal case. Now thevSenate needs to decide if it wants to remove him. Of course there are not enough votes to remove him.

Trump is still trying to short circuit the impeachment and removal process.

 

That is nothing but Russia government propaganda and we all know that Russian intelligence agencies make up lies about who they view as enemies. Amyone who believes Putin or any Russian government agency is very likely foolish or ignorant of the facts.

That's not a bad question and I suppose time will tell. However going with history I don't recall Obama voters deserting him in mass, or at all, when his Iraq policy lead to the rise of ISIS and a territorial enclave for the caliphate, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths. Obama supporters almost all stuck with him in spite of the catastrophe he helped bring about.

Same with Libya. Even Obama recognizes that as one of his biggest foreign policy mistakes but his acolytes still defend him. Just saw it today on this forum.
