Miracle on Ice team defends decision to appear at Trump rally

Still, anyone comparing this situation yesterday (40 Years After the Fact) in a purely political (Rally) setting to the 1980 Visit to The Carter WH (in the immediate aftermath of the Gold Medal) is beyond MISGUIDED.

Granted, Carter had his problems (Iran Hostages, headed to a Historic Defeat by Reagan, Etc.)

But, when that Miracle on Ice Team showed up at the Rally yesterday they were allying themselves with Donald Trump:

A Divisive Race-Baiter. A Misogynist (And Serial Sexual Predator).
A Person whose Main Speechwriter (and Propagandist) is an Avowed White Supremacist.

So any comparison (whatsoever) is beyond misguided.

Zero "Equivalency". None.

 

That was absolutely a part of it. Holding back the socialist hoards.

And we did it.

 

And our rights and way of life. Haters gonna hate.

 

I'll make this as simple as I can for you... It's because I consider that one of the great moments AND sports moments of my lifetime that I feel completely betrayed by this action by some of the team...
