Trump is not listening to what our pandemic experts are saying are "appropriate precautions".

Saying you agree with returning to normal in a short time means NOTHING. Everyone wants that.

NY says it needs 30,000 ventilators to help people get back to work.

Is Trump using the Defense Productin Act to produce more ventilators? No.

Is FEMA using that act to create more masks and other stuff hospitals need? Yes.

 

He's clearly not listening to medical advisers.

That's why he has to get corrected at every single briefing he holds.

 

If you think we need to shut down the entire country for at least two months you're delusional.

If you think that being out of work and business for months is just an "inconvenience" you're delusional.

If you think everyone will be fine if they just "tighten the purse" you're delusional.

As I said earlier, the last thing people need to be listening right now are the lies, histrionics and fear-mongering of Trump's opponents who would love to see the economy crash and burn and don't give a rat's ass about what that is going to do millions of American workers, businesses and the families that rely on them. Doesn't that mean that we'll have 100,000 cases in 3-4 days, probably a million 1 1/2 weeks after, maybe 10 million in three weeks? Trump can bluster about going back to work all he wants. People will be afraid. You will be too, you just haven't realized it yet, because the public panic hasn't started, thanks to the cooler heads of the governors prevailing.
