I suppose that I have an advantage in this matter because I don't have to use my imagination. I can use my memory. Hindsight is so superior to imagination that, in many cases, it is considered cheating. I've had to defend myself, and then I've had to defend my self defense in court. Let me give you some good advice, advice that saved my life more than once. If you ever do shoot someone, be sure that there's only one side to the story. I've been a fighter my whole life. I wrestled in middle school, boxed in high school and went on to become proficient in a number of styles. I'm not a big man. I'm only 5'8" and weigh only 150Lbs; but unless you have put thousands of hours in the gym every year for several decades, you're going to need a gun to accost me. I carry a gun for the exact reason you pointed out. There mentally ill thugs out there, people who just don't care, and God as my witness, I'll drop them where they stand if they come at me. I've done it before, and I know that I can live with it.

Definitely. I'm smaller and older than you. Those young guys beat the crap out of me four nights a week. They're beasts. They don't even have necks. DJ earned his black belt in December. He's built like a bowling ball and he's almost as solid. Rolling with DJ is like rolling with a bear - a bear with skills. Thanks to men like DJ, I really have my tap dialed in.
