I'm sure there were covid spreaders among the rioters, looters, and protesters as well which were swarming streets across America without wearing masks, without social distancing, etc...

Bull, are you now claiming a flu virus from a decade ago will stop next years flu?

A virus, any virus can mutate and when it does the current vaccine has to be modified for it to work against the current mutated virus.

If not true, why is it one cannot get a single flu shot and be good for life?

And if COVID deaths were being reported the same as flu deaths (instead of purposely over-inflating the numbers) then COVID deaths are probably actually more in line with annual flu deaths.

Do you personally know anyone who has gotten COVID? I only personally know two people (my nurse cousin and her husband). They both only had mild symptoms at most and recovered just fine. It was not a "death sentence". It wasn't a big deal at all. But then again, they were healthy and weren't already dying of something else to begin with.

 

Really? You don't understand how people traveling from one place to another spreads a virus? Was Trump's China travel ban pointless after all? Disappointing if the one thing he did to mitigate the spread turns out to have been a waste of time.

 

So your claiming my traveling will spread COVID-19 if so how?

Some year's vaccines are more effective than others but it is beyond doubt that they save huge numbers of lives each year.

Absolutely, they are as guilty as anyone else who ignores the scientific advice. Now is not the time for such mass protests.

 

I'm saying that the chances of you spreading the virus are vastly increased by you refusing to follow the advice to stay at home.

I may simply be unaware; but if out small city (of about 160,000 people) has suffered even one Covid-19 death this year, I am truly unaware of it.

Certainly, no one that I know--family; friends; even distant acquaintances--has even contracted the disease--let alone died from it.

 

And you are incorrect, my staying at home doesn't protect you, your staying at home protects you, that's your problem not mine.

Should I have some friends staying here and we decide to go to lunch we will just drive to La Belle airport, I'll put 90 gallons of fuel in my 206 and off we go to Hooters in Ft Myers, they have spaced seating good food and when done we will take the long way back set down at La Belle and go back to my place.

No muss, no fuss, no spreading of any virus, if you cannot handle that, stay at home and hide under your bed.

 

You are straw-manning. At no point did I suggest that an out of date vaccine would be efficient.
What you are supposed to do is follow the advice of the world's leading experts in order to slow the spread of the virus until either a cure or a working vaccine can be developed. This includes actions such as social distancing and wearing a mask when you have to come into close contact with other people especially indoors or on public transport.

 

I live in a large county and we have had 21 deaths, and they are all related to nursing homes or the prison over in South Bay, no one else has been infected.

Get away from the s-hole Democrat run urban areas and COVID-19 is not a major problem.
