    I got this article from Dr. Judith Curry who relates this to the Climate Science argument.

    I wonder who agrees with the author who is Matt Ridley.

    The Pangolian(or however you spell that animal) wasn't sold in the wet market?(Well, that Chinese scientist who said it was made in a Chinese viral lab, that's interesting.). Just like with Crossfire Hurricane, telling the truth is a venture that I don't think people want to do lol.

    I learned that quite a few people didn't pass elementary school science classes.

    I learned that if a journalist cites a study, or quotes a “scientist”, every bit of BS contained in the journalist’s work is swallowed whole. Then there is a giant stinking belch of said journalist work here on PF to try and make a political point. But it’s still BS, even second hand.

    I suggest you read these threads.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...develop-brain-malfunction-study-finds.579451/

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...e-drug-made-from-aborted-fetal-tissue.579554/

    These are just two threads this week predicated on the misrepresentation of science I’ve described in the post you responded to here. In both I’ve pointed out the gross errors (or lies) of people claiming “science” as their argument’s foundation.

    If you think I’m wrong in the above threads, provide evidence I am. If you can’t, my post in this thread stands on the merit of that failure of yours.

    You will have to excuse my ignorance on QAnon. I don’t even know what it is exactly. The threads I’ve suggested you read are predicated on reporting from USA Today and progressive leaning PF members. Is USA Today part of QAnon? Do you think the PF members who started the threads I’ve linked to are QAnon fans?

    My contributions to both threads are based on scientific evidence you are cordially invited to critique, but can’t. I accept your concession.

    Your posts and threads are skewed science fueled by QAnon garbage.

    Useless and "less than honest"

    Please provide some evidence of your claims. Everything I post is backed by science. Your inability to show otherwise is not evidence my posts are inspired by something I have never participated in any way.

    It’s sad this pandemic has turned people like you away from actual science. In the long run the negative results of this will far outweigh the results of this virus. Thank you for repeatedly proving my points on this issue.

    Unlike yourself I pay attention to what honest medical professionals say. I shy away from "experts" and pundits who twist facts...no matter how much BS they throw along with it.

    And posting a thousand word posts full of warped and misused facts doesn't help.

    Just stop

    Please show evidence the studies I cite in my posts are not done by honest professionals. Please show what facts are warped or misused by me.

    Your baseless accusations are valuable as demonstration you can’t debate the science, but that is their only value.

    Science and Covid19 stats have been politicized, however, let’s find out if THEY understand correlations;

    Claim; “We have the lowest Case Fatality Rate”

    Note; 2 months ago, a number of Trump’s loyalists compared the U.S. and Canada’s Case Fatality Rates, thus, 2.7% versus 8.4%.....Wow!

    Understanding correlations;

    Question; In the last two months, please explain why Canada’s Case Fatality Rate was significantly lowered from 8.4% to 5.4%?

    Next question; Will Trump’s above-average intelligent loyalists answer my question?

    Of course not?

    Why? Because they know the answer to my question will invalidate Trump’s CFR claim, reiterated by his below-average intelligent loyalists.

    Note; I’ve been posting in several forums since 2007, and I can say with certainty that the most intelligent partisan people are the ones who remain SILENT when their leader makes a false statement.

    Meh I guess maybe I kind of agree to a point, but really this is more about a political failure to prepare our country for such an event combined with the virus mutating to keep itself spreading, albeit no particularly more lethal so far as we can tell.

    You will need to explain that to me.

    We must return to the impeachment process. That was top news. China did not tell us we would get a dangerous disease. Trump now says China lied to him. Some Obamamists allege Trump had their plan to use. But it was a plan of surveillance since CV19 was not even on the Obama horizon ever that I am aware of. Is this virus mutating to the point treatment or vaccines won't work. Lord help us all if that is true.

    I do not know the origin. As you say, a Chinese woman scientist says it was created by the Chinese lab and was intended to infect others not in China.

    You sound as if you are far younger than myself. My first science course was in my freshman year of high school and was called General Science. I also studied Physics at the same high school and later in college. Chemistry was delayed by me until college.

    Would that include Democrats making climate points using journalists talking out their arses as were they scientists?

    Yeh, I’ve seen much perversion of science in the realm of climate change. Journalism is dead.

    No..they were QUOTING and linking to scientists...who overwhelmingly support the position that ACGW is a major threat to our way of life...as do other scientists who understand that the virus is as well

    My first science class was in 5th grade. I had some form of science class every year up to completion of my undergraduate degree in mathematics. I should have taken the offer to join the military as they offered help with college up to and including medical school based on my ASVAB scores. My parents wouldn't sign for whatever reasons but I should have when I turned 18. Lesson learned.
